Superb reaction second half and how we have been playing but should have put this to bed really with the chances missed.

Second time in just a few weeks we've had any chance of winning killed by a bullshit red card. This is getting riduculous.

Jesus Colchester really do have the hex on us this season. Third time they’ve scored 3 against us. Our Achilles heel is set pieces and it’s bitten us on the arse again.

Made to work really hard for that. Orient were excellent in the middle third, but didn't have the quality to make their impressive play count, plus they looked shaky at the back.

Not a good performance from us, but given the disruption in the squad, it's an impressive and welcome 3 points. Onto Walsall.

Finally one of Stevenages long range shot goes in, it was that far away I don't think McKeown even expected it!

Poor game this, can see what we are trying to do but keep giving ball away. Lucky the pen killed the game for Stevenage and led to what should be a comfortable win for us.

Destroyed them second half, lit the touch paper with the penalty and Amoo was on it then, great result considering we only turned up for 45 minutes!

Great win for Vale. Knowing the cycle with Vale Salford may as well celebrate their win on Saturday now.

Brilliant second half, it’s nice to see a reaction like that so credit where it’s due. Came out second half with a lot more energy and we capitalised on our momentum as soon as we equalised.

Literally no idea where that performance came from tonight. A million miles better than anything we’ve produced in about a year. Stunning performance, stunning win. Watched it on ifollow, so enjoyable, particularly Kayode’s performance up front.

Hope it’s not a one off and we can take that level into Saturday. Not getting ahead of myself because we’ve rarely backed up anything positive this season .

I think you just grew into it as you realised we were going to chuck goals your way and not try too hard to get past your back line (who fair play stood up well). All you had to do was be competent and willing, plus a real cracker for Thomas's second.

Thought we were likely midtable before the season started and would have been fine with that but it's frustrating to show we could get up there then tinker and fanny our way back down again.

Yeah I thought it was a mid table squad tbh, but early season looked promising so expectations went up.

Think it's the way it's falling apart that's annoying, too much tinkering and panic signings. Think MC should have shown more patience with our strikers. And maybe brought in a bit more defensive cover. Mills and Kitching (out of position) were appalling tonight.

Absolutely garbage first half showing but a very decent second half performance got us a deserved 3 points in the end.

Nice for Bennett to get a couple which will hopefully give his confidence a massive boost.

I don’t know what it is about Thomas and your lot. He seems to just turn up in devastating form every time.

Scratching my head about we didn’t win that. Their keeper MoM sums it up. 1-0 up and had 3 absolute first rate chances and he saves every one.

They bring on the lumps, couple of set pieces and we’re done. Thought Colchester were poor throughout but got lucky.
Shit happens.

Uh oh, here goes the fight back. 4-4 lump on
I’m the most pessimistic but even I knew that was never going to happen. Barring stoppage time it was totally comfortable. I’ve literally no idea where that performance came from, best tenner I’ve spent in a while.

Best player I've seen this season.

Let's be honest you tore us a new one, which is no surprise. You always look quality against us, which makes your league position baffling.

Good performance from us all things considering. Dominated large spells of the game, even with 10 men. If the bullshit red doesn't happen then it's obviously not a 3-0 game.

2-1 up! Young lad Jephcott with a guided header into the back of the net. Fifth goal in as many games. Get in. Got to hold on now, results gone our way tonight.

Well that's at least one thing that's brightened my evening
