By we I meant FGR, not myself sadly.

Carlisle's a decent away day.

We lost our way on Saturday and we will need to get back to somewhere near our best to get anything from tonight's game against Orient.

Nadesan missing on Saturday. No reason given, injured? Spa day? No pace beyond without him so it was easier to defend against us than it should have been. If he is back our chances go up.

Yems speaks of Josh Wright with great favour so I would expect him to start against his old club. On Saturday, Maguire-Drew looked as though he hadn't played for a while...needed games so maybe on the bench. Tilly looked lively when he came on so maybe a swap with Maguire-Drew.

I would much rather see David Sesay as right back than our other options but Yems doesn't seem to rate him. I dont think he is brilliant just better than the other options.

Crawley to sneak it 2-1.

We’ve lost all 5 of our games away at Crawley and we’re going to need to improve quite a bit on Saturday to even muster a draw.

Id expect Adam Thompson, Nick Freeman and Tristan Abrahams to all start in some capacity.

Maguire-Drew can’t play against us I believe as it was part of his loan deal.

No draw now for over 3 months, when we’re bad my god we’re awful to watch. Conceded 2 goals 7 always games in a row losing 6 of them.

Home form has papered cracks for us, we don’t manage games well enough.

Can't be much worse then it was at our place.

The ethical man in me wants your game to be on but the absolute c*nt in me would find it mighty amusing if it was postponed.

Where do the Cambridge fans draw the line on the points in the bag vs games in hand thing? Given that we're talking about a whole four games in hand, not just one or two.

We think you’re ahead of us. My personal view is I reckon if you assume each game in hand at the top is worth two points then you won’t be too far off.

But having said that, I’d revise those two points per game down to 1.5 and so on if you’re having to play Saturday-Tuesday-Thursday-Saturday.

It won't go to PPG when the PFA have pumped £5m into testing.

I would like a draw tonight but if I had to chose a team to win it would be Carlisle so we can both start to bridge the gap between us and fourth.

I would much rather the points on the board then games in hand because the pressure does mount and if you have to start playing silly amounts of games per week fatigue is going to kick in somewhere.

It's the team coming through the pack I would be worried about and that's Tranmere.

If we beat FGR tonight then they can get a headstart and engrave the first two letters onto the L2 trophy :P

I agree on ppg, it was more of a reference to last season than this - I too don’t think we’re heading towards the season being cancelled since we’re on our way out of lockdown.

I would rather points on the board generally but not three points as opposed to four games, as it is in this instance.

Pitch, looking alright. Previous seasons we were used to it being much better than this but weather's been tough on it lately.

You are correct regarding Maguire-Drew. In my head...Well there's often an empty space.

Crawley haven't played at home for nearly a month so the pitch should be OK.

I'm hoping we don't start as slowly as we did at Tranmere, lost every 50/50 and were lucky not to be 3 or 4 down at half time. Carlisle will be a lot fresher then us you'd suspect, we've played a lot more games then them over the past few weeks, and don't have the depth to rotate much. Adams being suspended doesn't help either.

We've won 1 in 6 since last playing Carlisle, need a result tonight you feel.

We’ll have to be better than we were Saturday. We were extremely rusty, more so than I expected. We started well but ran out of steam really after about 15 minutes. Exeter dominated the game there on but their poor final ball and decision making meant they didn’t break through.

I expect forest green to be slightly better in that respect. We simply have to get closer to winning balls in midfield and at the top of the pitch otherwise it’ll be defeat. But hopefully that game on Saturday has brushed out the cobwebs and we’re a bit sharper.

Expecting a tough game and a narrow defeat, but with some positives in the performance.

Carlisle 1-2 Forest Green

Kicking off at 6 on a Tuesday seems weird af.

Anyway our team news is in, no Matt in the squad which is a blow, Davison starts up top, Sweeney replaces Adams and Bailey comes in for Wagstaff. McGee back so we have a keeper on the bench again.

Kayode in for Zanzala is our only change from the win over Exeter.
