All true, and no surprise that nothing's been done because it would cost money and, well, Singh. But that's not the reason the atmosphere was low-key tonight. Nobody was banned, or stopped from chanting, singing, drumming. A bunch of fans simply chose not to. They hurled their toys floorwards and threw a tantrum. It was also a fairly lacklustre performance for much of the game, the kind that would result in a flat atmosphere even if all fans were onside.Disappointing with the amount of time they’ve known about the issue, and the little amount it would cost to rectify it, that nothings been done.
Felt for Spike and Nelse tonight, first home game they deserved a good atmosphere, and it was a lot more flat because of it.
As it happens, the atmosphere was pretty good last 20 minutes, especially once Crawford was on and we were pushing for the win.
