Isle of Weight? :flint:

8 is not half of 23.
8 is under 11. Which is why I said 'just under'

It is if you're from Devon and your counting system is based on the number of fingers on each hand.
I see the schools up norf are still struggling with teaching basic English skills and how to read. (See above)

Half of 23 is 11.5

8 is 3.5 under 11.5, it's approximately 30% under so to say 8 is just under half the teams in the division is like saying Derek Asamoah is just under the weight of Adebayo Akinfenwa (as he's just over 30% lighter)

and it's spelled 'north'.

Doncaster now on 49 with two games in hand but Blackpool have slipped down. Northampton will be hoping for a 'bounce' after sacking JFH.

Sutton slipped up yesterday, whilst Macclesfield won. The former have a game in hand due to a abandonment in their game on Good Friday due to the weather when 3-2 up.

Bromley close the gap on the PO's and Dagenham might fancy their chances of sneaking in with two winnable games coming up and having one in hand.

Not looking good for the Alex as it stands, I can't recall us winning a single league game at any of those grounds in the League One bottom four in my 16 years of supporting us and quite possibly my lifetime. Add to the fact that Macclesfield are one of our bogey sides and we've never won there in the league either means that the stars are aligned for Tranmere (haven't won at Prenton Park for nearly 20 years) or Aldershot (never ever won at Aldershot in 25 odd games we played against their old club and their new club) to join them in promotion to League Two next year.

EDIT: Seems we won against Northampton at their place in 06-07 but I'm pretty sure that's the only win against the aforementioned teams we've had...

1st May 1993 was the last time Crewe won at Gigg Lane. Not won here in the last 11 attempts.

Big game tonight (not in the attendance wise, however) between bury and Rochdale in league 1

A win for bury gives them maybe a chance, if dale win they'll only be a point away from 20th which would be remarkable given where they were a few weeks back. It would leave them a point ahead of Northampton with 3 games in hand, and would have a game in hand on most other sides

Macclesfield won again tonight, with Sutton losing but Tranmere winning who also have 2 games in hand.

In any event, I make it that Macc only need 4 points from 3 games now.

Great result if you live in the north west, well done macc. Last seasons conference was the easiest in a decade, this years has somehow surpassed it

Not that I know anyone in Manchester lol

Wish I could go back in time and stick £50 on an Accrington and Macclesfield league winners double.

Could be up on Saturday if we win and Tranmere lose.

If Lincoln go up it means we'll follow the following season.. Keep it up lads

Macc are like an annoying little brother that follows you everywhere and just won't piss off :bg:

Just kidding, it's a strange bond we share - since getting promoted and relegated together in 97/98 - 98/99 you have followed us one season behind. with every relegation and promotion. It's crazy and I really should have put money on you going up this year.

Tranmere play one of their two games in hand tonight at Dover. If Tranmere win, Macclesfield are up.

In L1, Bury are down.

MK have an uphill task as it is, especially if Rochdale and/or Oldham win their game in hand. Northampton also looking down due to playing one or two games more than those around them and effectively being 4 points adrift with only 3 to play for them.

Looking at their respective fixtures, the top of the National League could have a tighter finish than it might look at the moment, especially as Tranmere have hit form right now.

They get loads of money from Arsenal Women's team playing at their ground and a load of other off-field stuff.
However, (and this cannot be stressed enough) the most important thing to remember about them is that they're a bunch of c***.

Should they come down, surely MK Dons have to be favouties for the title next season? You’d imagine they’d have the financial clout to secure some good signings.

It’s going to look even more emptier in that vast bowl than it already does! The massive seating means visually it looks sparse as it is. Have they actually got that much money as they’ve had two very meh seasons since relegation?

Like Stevenage under Westley when they came up?
