At last. A standard, normal, nondramatical, 2-0 win. Looked a ’proper’ team and not the Harlem Globetrotters of football.

Win our game in hand and we’re top. Unfortunately, unlike Notts County, we’re not promoted in September.

Was impressed with Grimsby number 42. Stand out for them always in space and available for the ball

That's not on us. That's a 3rd party observation due to Luke Warm.

Crazy game and a brilliant day. The fact we got a point was a bit of a robbery, we were nowhere near our best and I thought Wimbledon were pretty good. They missed several chances and should have been out of sight, we couldn't have really complained if we'd lost by 4 or 5. However, great character from the team and absolutely terrific scenes at the end. Loved it.

Better today, although I was surprised by how little threat Grimsby offered then again team with Pyke up top will struggle for goals.

2 brilliant crosses for the 2 first half goals. Very comfortable in the end, a match sharp Mullin scores both chances he missed today. Looking forward to seeing him and Fletcher together. Fair does to Eliiot Lee I thought he was quiet today until Mullin went off then it was like he flicked a switch saying its my responsibility for the goals now and he was brilliant the last 20.

Hayden makes us so much better at the back.
I mean it’s not like that’s our usual forward line but it is infuriating how little we create

Another impressive cameo from Fletcher as well. Starting to look like the Armstrong debacle may have been a blessing in disguise.

It's slipped under the radar due to a combination of all the Mullin, Mansfield, Gillingham, Bradford and Stockport injury posts and Hurst keeping his cards close to his chest but we were missing out entire first choice frontline today and it's the area of the pitch we're most thin on as is so hardly surprising. Scored 9 league goals this season and the scorers of 6 of those were out today.

Clifton needs fucking off for me. I'd snap Barnsley's hand off for a six figure fee if it comes in in Jan. The system works well we're on it and firing but it's massively flawed when we're not. I think we only have space in that midfield for Holohan or Clifton not both. I can't see why Clifton is getting time when he's not performing when Hunt gets sidelined after two matches while not being any worse. I wonder if Clifton bought himself time with his goal against Notts.

I’m just thankful that we didn’t turn in a performance like that in the play offs at Wrexham.

Strong statement that - ban the little scumbags. Most are not much older than 14 years old.

Fletcher for nothing is looking like much better value than £2m for Armstrong.

Boyle will get 15 goals this season the big ugly lump.

We're just inevitable at the minute. Played poor today for the most part, but this team really are the comeback Kings. That's 4 times this season we've been 2-0 down and we've come back to draw. On top of that we were losing vs Forest Green and MK Dons aswell and came back to win. If just based games off 1at half's we would probably be bottom, whereas 2nd half's we would probably be top.
Just looked this up and it's ridiculous.

1st half of games only, we would be bottom of the league with 1 point and a -9 goal difference

2nd half only, we are top with 22 points and a +15 goal difference.

I think despite being terrible today (having to watch on dodgy stick) today in the end filled me with confidence.

After being behind at doncaster, grimsby, and now colchester we’ve came back and got draws, which isn’t something we’d have done last year, and whereas the first 2 should’ve resulted in wins, it’s actually nice to claw a point back in a game we really didn’t deserve to get anything from.

Whereas it could be argued we’ve drawn 5 out of the 8 we’re unbeaten in we’ve also played 5 of the 8 away.

DKD yet another goal.

Onwards.

A very entertaining first half from both us and Morecambe, if you’re going to watch the highlights then look out for our second goal, it was a great strike from Mahoney.

Second half didn’t really get going and then they had a player sent off. Don’t mind really, just pleased to win.

Terrible at home again
Should have been 4 up at half Time and managed to eek out a 2 all draw with a poor crewe. (On today's showing)

What a thoroughly enjoyable 2nd gear performance, and Grimsby were absolute turd. A not fully fit Mullin ran round the defence at will and didn't have a clue how to handle him. A last season fit Mullin would have buried them chances he had, so can easily lay off his lack of quality on goal, but still managed to tie Waterfall in knots.

2nd half was really enjoyable. Lovely first time balls, dangerous crosses all afternoon and flicks and nutmegs from the white Pele, who capped off a terrific performance with a goal to seal a very convincing 3-0 win.

Glad to put to bed that 4-5 PO win and make a real statement of intent. Hoping to kill off another one next week with Stockport in their own back yard.

Can't even argue, we were poor on today's showing. Sign of a decent team though to nick a point away from home when you play badly.

Stole a win there, started the game well but we could have been 3 or 4 down when we scored, equaliser was coming & thought only one team was going to win it so to score from what was almost certainly a cross felt good on the much busier than I thought it would be away end, Newport (& possibly Harrogate) aside probably the worst we've played this season

If that’s one of your worst performances you’re in a false position, thought you looked decent at times, played it about pretty well and caused us problems.

We had a couple of good spells of pressure but never really felt confident we’d get a result. Our equaliser came as a nice surprise, so sickener to concede at the end like that. Not great to see another two injuries to key players either but that’s how it goes when you’re down there I suppose.

Horseman has now lost his first 5 home league games as manager, I don’t think any manager has done that here before. Not even Alan Lewer.

Absolutely, we have played some terrific football this season but there wasn't any sign of that today. You should've been out of sight.

Nope, not at all....

Revenge is a dish best served cold :D

To be fair, he's gone downhill quite quickly since that game...really thought he'd be all over Mullin and dig a few elbows in, but looked miles off the pace.

He's still a good good lower league CB, just a bad day at the office today. Like I said earlier, we should have stuck to the system that was working at the back as left him on the bench. Not many teams at this level have a third choice CB as good as Waterfall.

We've got a 4th choice centre back who is twice the player Luke Waterfall is. Annoyingly, our 1st choice centre back is worse than Luke Waterfall.
