A satisfying win. Feel like things are starting to click now- at one point someone is going to get battered.
Should have been more today, still not clinical enough for me.

Grimsby will be right down there based on that today. Old man Waterfall taken out of the firing line at half-time.

Hughes has had his job saved by the Harrogate keeper having a rush of blood in the last minute there.

We're going nowhere with this clown and look clueless by the week.

Not that Harrogate were any better. They were arguably even worse than us and their goal was about 5 miles offside.
They were the worst side I’ve seen since Scunny last came here, absolutely awful and offered nothing. As for Armstrong he looked like a pub player and got out paced to Platt of all people first half when through on goal.

Sadly we were dreadful once again, we were no great shakes last season but the regression is appalling.

In other news, my sources tell me Neil Harris has locked his team in the dressing room at full time for the criminal feat of scoring two goals.

That late goal by Bradford and very very very late goal by Crewe earned a very unlikely draw double at 13/1 odds

That's five points thrown away in the last minute of home games now after failing to put games to bed, so frustrating.

The season is 8 games old, we've gone 2-0 down 4 times this season and not lost any of those games.

Another comeback and a point we barely deserved after a horrific first half and slightly less shite second. But playing shit and still racking up points is the sign of a good team I guess.

Made up for Big Nev as well, turning into a bagsman he is!

Was an off day, we won't be down there over the course of the season. Not sure why Hurst went with three at the back when we've been doing alright with a flat back four. Showing you lot too much respect there. Still though, we've had such a tough start that 10 points on the board and a neutral GD when we're still gelling is okay. Not gonna worry too much about getting a hiding away at a side that's got a wage budget that dwarfs ours.

Good performance and win for Wrexham today though, absolutely no complaints here.

Performances are on a par, if not slightly worse than last season but the difference is he hasn't got Cook bailing him out anymore.

8 games in and the only games we’ve lost are to the 2 promoted sides, just goes to show how strong the National League is……..

Still unbeaten, having drawn 3 away games this season we should’ve won it was great to get a draw from 1 we didn’t deserve.

Desperately poor today and lucky, just fortunate we didn’t play anyone with any real quality.

Onwards.

Good win at MK Dons. They weren't as good as I thought they'd be tbh, two tricky forwards though. Louie Barry is a good player in great form for us but the win was built on a hard working away performance as opposed to individual quality.

Second game forced to play a back four. Coincidence?

All very predictable. I think we’ve built a very good midfield but it’s so frustrating how short we’ve left ourselves up top yet again.

It’s almost like every attacking player we sign is signed with defensive capabilities in mind, and we suffer going forward because of it. Half the time our wingers seem more worried about their defensive responsibilities that they repeatedly fail to create further up the pitch.

Today Wrexham weren’t even all that great but we didn’t lay a glove of them. Every single ball in the box was poor and we didn’t create a chance against a side who didn’t have a home clean sheet all season, conceding 13 goals in 4 home games.

I think we’ve improved, but it’s the same issues in the same areas yet again that I think are going to be our undoing.

I quite like it but not sure our personnel at the back is the strongest for it. Pye looks a promising player and played pretty well today but if we're going to play it going forward an experienced free agent centre half would be pretty welcome.

I think Wrexham could cause us a few problems next week tbh, we could get at them too, could be a good game.

The football is on par with Peter Taylor's when we finished about 18th. Dire. Hughes out.

Credit to Doncaster, kept going for the win and put some excellent balls in. The shot reads about thirty to us to a few for them but then comparative threat was nothing like that. We are very unlucky though, some of those were just not your day misses.
ETA XG of about 3 to .5 in our favour. Arse
Stole a win there, started the game well but we could have been 3 or 4 down when we scored, equaliser was coming & thought only one team was going to win it so to score from what was almost certainly a cross felt good on the much busier than I thought it would be away end, Newport (& possibly Harrogate) aside probably the worst we've played this season

We're just trying to get enough points to stay out of a relegation battle amigo :2thumb:

Who's your rival this season?

Almost a punch up at Crawley. Would have been one if I could have spotted the dickhead throwing cans and bottles at the Tranmere keeper!

Tranmere spent the second half sitting in and trying to hit us on the break. On another day they could have had two more goals as they missed one sitter and didn't connect another time. Most of the issues were because our defence was all over the place. Williams banned so instead of making one change Lindsey made 3 ! Conroy where Williams plays, Wright where Conroy plays and Johnson where Wright plays. Strangers in the night or what.

We had lots of the ball but it was so slow. The Tranmere full backs kept Darcy and Tsaroulla quite most of the game but they were helped by us over playing. Having said that I think we deserved to win and a 94th minute winner is always fun.

We're just inevitable at the minute. Played poor today for the most part, but this team really are the comeback Kings. That's 4 times this season we've been 2-0 down and we've come back to draw. On top of that we were losing vs Forest Green and MK Dons aswell and came back to win. If just based games off 1at half's we would probably be bottom, whereas 2nd half's we would probably be top.

those bell ends behind the goal deserved a beating, made me laugh that they used all their smoke grenades for the first goal -very embarrassing and let’s hope they get banned, Tranmere keeper was nearly hit with about 10 bottles. We are going to be in big big trouble over that.

We looked so dodgy against the counter attack but 2nd half we looked like scoring every time we went forward.
Tranmere kept Tsaroulla and Darcy quiet in the 1st half but in the 2nd they had them on toast.
Deserved win but never should have been that score line.

Better today, although I was surprised by how little threat Grimsby offered then again team with Pyke up top will struggle for goals.

2 brilliant crosses for the 2 first half goals. Very comfortable in the end, a match sharp Mullin scores both chances he missed today. Looking forward to seeing him and Fletcher together. Fair does to Eliiot Lee I thought he was quiet today until Mullin went off then it was like he flicked a switch saying its my responsibility for the goals now and he was brilliant the last 20.

Hayden makes us so much better at the back.
