Tried every trick in the book to get Proctor booked then to try and get Walker off. It’s backfired though because then the referee has thought I need to even this up and booked two of theirs.

They just lump it to Smith and feed off scraps.

Personally think he should play over Hawkins, considering he’s a striker but Clough disagrees, Rawson been good this season but in and out of the starting eleven.

To be fair Hawkins and O’Toole have done well together this season, but hard to see how Clough doesn’t think he’s made a mistake tonight.

I think tuesday is a bit of a free hit for us.

we’re away at scunthorpe saturday and would be looking for a win, and the other game in hand is at home to stevenage.

At one stage we’d played 6 more games than away, and we’ve recently gone on a run of 5 consecutive away games, to be where we are is a cracking effort.

Even then the last 2 home games have been exeter and northampton, which were both home wins.
