Oh don't get me wrong it will be a great achievement and entirely on merit.

Its just that I expect you to scupper yourself with fixture congestion like the last few seasons.

Bromley are the worst team we've played all season.

Welling were absolute garbage for the first 50-60 minutes, we walked all over them and would have scored about 6 but for their keeper who had a very good game. After that we took our foot off the pedal and when Welling started trying to play football instead of hoofing it to their 3 foot 7 forward they played alright. Result never in doubt though.

Edit - suspected ankle ligament damage for Harry Pell, probably out for the season. That's now Pell, Downes, Dickie and Morgan-Smith with long-term injuries.

Think that goes down as a bore draw. Neither keeper had much to do - thought we maybe shaded the 2nd half and did have the ball in the net but to be fair Pavey did look a couple of yards offside. Still, can't complain with 3 consecutive clean sheets and a decent point against a side 4th in the league.

I think we'll be the first side mathematically confirmed in the Conference next season on current form.

One more point and we can close the book on this season. Which we should get at the very least next weekend.

Braintree will still get heavily beat if they make the play-offs but it's a terrific story.

If there's any justice, any whatsoever, then Cheltenham and Grimsby will win promotion this season. I respect the forum's (majority of) intelligence enough not to elaborate on that.

FRG are the Dubai of football clubs. Bland, overhyped, characterless, boorish, and built with an obscene and unsustainable cash injection on sandy foundations. I am glad to let them win and chug along, happy in their own little bubble which has no chance whatsoever of bursting. We're gon' be allll-right.

Must be nice being such a bitter little man. Concentrate on your own team rather then worrying about what's going on at the top with the big boys.

And Forest Green fans wander why everyone despises their tinpot club so much. See you at Wembley.

Lincoln fans must be cheesed off with that result, due largely to a couple of moments of comedic incompetence at either end of the pitch.

An entertaining game, mind.

It's called jealousy. Happens in all walks of life. Gets pretty boring and just makes you sound incredibly bitter.

How? By offering fans free travel, when the world of football is in turmoil for doing quite the opposite and charging fans more. Clueless pal.
Yeah, football is no longer about the fans anymore, it's about the egomaniacal, tofu-hotdog eating, irrational, billionaire owners. Silly us.

I'm not bitter at all, why would I? Your club has little/no substance, and FGR fans are just airing that out on this forum. I wouldn't swap my club's position for yours long-term, no chance.

The fact that yourself and Tom are almost excitedly speculating on whether one of your players has been racially abused or not, as another stick to beat the Halifax fans with, I find utterly abhorrent to be honest.

No, the world of football is in turmoil because of a few lone moneymen pumping several times more money than usual into their here-today-gone-tomorrow outfits, inflating the cost of the game across each league and forcing genuine fans to pay through the nose in order for their clubs to compete.

Looking at some of the attendance in league 2 today FGR wouldnt look out of place. That said some of the teams behind them look to be heading down.

Anyway, onto the game....

Bit of a mad one, but we should have won - a penalty missed and two Farman clangers tells that story. Alty have enough in the tank to stop up I think.

Should be looking for all three points at home to Southport next time out.

I expect a full apology, I didn't once speculate weather a player had been racially abused? All I saw was Bennett kicking off over something. I have no idea what exactly.

Thanks

I was just stating that it's good that our club was doing something positive when others are doing the opposite.Learn to read.

Cards fans, any news on Jeffers injury? Not sure what happened as our radio guys said there was no challenge or anyone near him but i hope it's nothing serious.

Pretty poor game with a lack of quality in the final third, thought we were the better side but in reality neither side deserved a win, I can only remember 2 shots on target the whole game. Surprised Tranmere are doing so well, quite a lot of old, overweight players, definitely not the best side I've seen at the Rec this season. Thought the ref was shocking, so inconsistent for both sides.
Our season is over, nice to not be in a relegation dogfight again but hope we just play some attacking football, get the missing supporters back on board for next seasons play-off push.
