Nice one another FGR fan. Green Army. :2thumb:

Agree Moore looked classy at the back, looking forward to seeing what he can do up front. Braintree solid but lacked a goal threat, although tbf they were up against a very good defence and a keeper in Arnold who is looking better and more confident every week. His distribution is really improving as well.

You can stick your fancy attacking football (Grimsby), if we keep grinding out these ugly wins we've got a great chance. Who cares about goal difference? Pressure on Cheltenham tomorrow.
Our lack of goals ( and games) the reason we aren,t likely to make the play offs. 1st half yesterday we had several chances but poor finishing and some stout defending by FGR kept us out. FGR better side 2nd half and overrall deserved their win.

You did catch one of our better defensive displays, Clough barely put a foot wrong and Moore slotted in well. Jennings at LB a bit more suspect and.what chances you had first half seemed to come that side.

I had an inkling they would nick a goal late on when it was still 0-0, invoking the 'winning ugly' cliche

Shame for us, but I'm not too disappointed.

Avoid defeat at Altrincham, and we're in the play-offs. Funny old game.

Dover just absolutely switched off as soon as they scored - why there were so few men back for both goals, but particularly the first is beyond me. Gave it away!

Hate to say it, but pulling out a result like that late on is a mark of champions.
