All 3 relegated sides have come back up then. I'm not sure if that says the Championship is good or that L1 is crap but it does point to a difference in standards.

Well done Rotherham, deserved it today. :2thumb:

Does that mean the return of SERNWA?

Another vote for shame Shrewsbury didn't make it. Rotherham such a boring club, poor away day but definitely staring at 24th unless they invest substantially.

Hahahaha nailed it mate, everybody wanted Shrewsbury to win. Bigger club, better history more chance of staying in the Championship. Shame that justice wasn’t done on the day.

'Kinell!! We're just a bit isolated then! Swansea are even worse!
Quite a Northern league next season.

Liking the look of that, some easy away games to get too next season.

Also a shame Shrewsbury didn't get over the line but it's another away game just a few miles away, to replace the Dingles.

We might be a boring club to you mate but I don't understand the poor away day.
New stadium in the centre of the town, loads of pubs and places to eat and Sheffield next door if you want to stay over.
Better than most I'd say but then again I love a trip to Bristol so you do win that one.

No doubt that it will be a difficult season for us but what do you do?
We will have to make up for the lack of a decent budget with hard wor and organisation.
Hopefully Warnie learned enough off Warnock to keep us more competitive next season than we were last time.

Wank ground though ain't it - be much more appealing if Millmoor was still in use

Only if you enjoyed wading through piss and getting rained on in the toilets.
Mill Moor was ruined the day they seated the Tivoli end.

Think we spent something like 26 years of our history in 2nd tier and most of our time in 3rd so I would say we're a 3rd tier club going on 2nd if anything.

They're no strangers to this division anyway, welcome back.

Not been the NY yet and probably should now it's my closest ground.

Rotherham definitely deserved the win, Shrewsbury were awful and never looked like winning, it was a miracle they got to extra time.

I just hope Rotherham manage to bring more than the 800 fans they brought last time. :bg:

I seriously doubt we will unless we have another abysmal season. Are the ticket prices still the same next season? We would take 4k minimum every time if we having an average season and reasonable ticket price.

Probably be same price as last time which I think was £36 unless it's midweek then it will most likely be £30 or if it's first game of season or boxing day then it might be £39.

Still ridiculous prices but other clubs are catching up, Leeds have always been expensive but clubs like Bolton and Barnsley charged over £30 for tickets last season, they weren't that many that charged under £30.

So there's capping in the Premier League at £30 for away games (as there should be) but none in the Championship? Bizarre.

Let the Donny fans show themselves up to be the classless chavs that a good portion of them are.

They I'll be fuming as being in the same division as us was their utopia. They've been willing us to defeat for months, determined in their pretence that we are a team of cloggers getting lucky and they play football.

They will be absolutely pig sick that we're once again in a league above. And some things, they stay the same..

As for the rest of you, we are here on merit and because we deserve to be.

Not sure how we can be classed as a boring away day. There's a million pubs within walking distance, the train station is only 10 mins walk maximum, and if you're fussy about your ale, Sheffield is a ten minute train journey and has even more boozing options than Rotherham.

Can see why people think Rotherham is boring. Another red Yorkshire team in the same neck of the woods as Doncaster and Barnsley that we've had up here in recent years. Stadium may be new but it's tiny. TBH it's probably up the with the worst away days in the league imo. At least Shrewsbury would have been a new ground for most.

But yeah well done, you're here on merit as you say.
