Watched the first (double bill) episode of The Last Man On Earth last night. Good start, cracked up quite a few times.

I gave up on the latest season of House of Cards. Boring.

Got 2 episodes of Peaky Blinders to go. Damn dis shit is good

Series 3 of House Of Cards is better than series 2, and I certainly wouldn't call it boring. Neither of them are up to the standard of the first series though, but isn't that often the way.

I think in the case of HoC, that's because they basically copied the excellent BBC version in the 1st series. The latter series were made up by the producers, and you can noticably see the step away from realism and introduction of shitty shock vehicles

the BB finale was a bum note to end the series on, but not because it wasn't 'badass' or whatever the fuck.

Enjoyed the first 3 episodes of the new series of Community. Not sure on the new characters but there is potential for growth.

Did anybody watch The Mafia with Trevor McDonald? Thoroughly enjoyable 2 part series. The title gives it away. Not sure when Part 2 is sadly.

Yep, I did, loved the guy playing out the stereotype and directly quoting The Godfather. "This is the life we chose"!
Part 2 is next Monday at 9pm.

Yep, he was my favourite too. Thought it was good to be honest. Will definetely be watching Part 2. It's weird how a total underworld can go on for years banking millions and millions of dollars.

Obese: A Year to Save My Life (USA)

Sexy fit man shouts at a fat man and reels off inspirational quotes at a fat man/lady. USA version is better than the Brit version as it's more exploitative of the situation/subject of the weight loss.

Saw one earlier this week where the subject of the show had made some great gains before he fell off the wagon and bought a load of fast food. Sexy fit man found it in his car.

Just watched on Channel 4, 'Coalition', about the forming of the last minority government with all the wheeling and dealing the Lib Dems and Clegg did to cling on to the Tories. Pretty good, though Mark Gatiss as Peter Mandelsson had an outrageous wig on that I couldn't stop looking at!

Just binge watched all four episodes of Karaoke (Dennis Potter's penultimate work) on 4OD. Excellent. Really excellent.

Channel 4 (gawd bless 'em) have the follow-up, Cold Lazarus, on there as well. Looks like campy sci-fi bonkersville. Ace, in other words. T'will be my next binge.

Finished Justified season 5, the weakest so far for me, compared to previous seasons the Crowes were just a bit shit as primary antagonists I thought though they had their moments, that said though still better than most shows running at the moment.

Watching the final season of True Blood. Anna Paquin is still annoying, 7 seasons in.
