Thats the real question why so many & why would you actively pursue that life something very wrong there.
Yeah thats a social, drug and immigration issue there, particularly in Los Angeles. I suppose some are just born into it as well and have no chance of becoming upward socially mobile, as college costs a fortune so as soon as they are out of school they'll be on low paid jobs throughout their lives and the cycle continues. The UK isn't perfect by any means, but we are a damn sight luckier here than over there in the so called 'land of the free'.

I see the Mentalist did a 10.4m last night, not bad considering it wasn't shown all around the world. Considering Prison Break finished in the low 2m I believe, it just goes to show that the programme does have legs again if a company give it a mini-series run. They won't though. I think that is, 100% completely done, forever.

Yes, noticed this. It's being promoted on Amazon at the moment for anyone who uses prime. Will get round to it at some point.

Anyone able to recommend anything worth watching on Netflix, aside from the obvious?

I don't know what you consider obvious, but House Of Cards is well worth watching.

Cheers for the reply, good recommendation, already seen it though, will have to settle for the Terry Henry documentary for tonight's pre-sleep viewing.

Series 2 is better IMO. Considering it's a low budget normal TV programme, it's excellent.

I liked Line of Duty Series 2, but I couldn't help but feel disappointed at the end, it felt like it had dragged on a lot

Yeah, I was a little dissapointed with the very end, but the actual programme itself was very good throughout.

Been watching the Zatoichi tv series on Youtube, on series two now. Seen all the films as well as some of you will know as I posted my reviews on the 20-odd of them! :D Got about 75 episodes remaining of the series if I can get them.

Couple of weeks to the new series. A lot of rumours about Chevy Chase returning for an episode, even though his character is dead.

Re-watching Tremé. Halfway through series 2. Such a brilliant show.

Also watching (and for the most part enjoying) Orphan Black.

Can't wait for new seasons of Community and Hannibal.

Watching The Americans on Amazon Prime. Intelligently written and thrilling. Could quite easily have been caper-of-the-week fare, but it's got much more going for it than set-pieces.

Finished with an abbreviated 4th season. I loved that series. Seeing it get calumnised as "the show where nothing happens" by the middlebrow brigade was very aggravating. Particularly when same outlets were running THE WIRE ULTIMATE CHARACTER BRACKET RAWLS IS A SNEAKY #4 SEED articles every day for 5 years. Twats.

His new one is imminent: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Show_Me_a_Hero

Onto the 2nd season. It's a bit wow. Along with Hannibal, definitely the most impressive US TV I've seen of the past few years.

Macclesfield Town/Manchester City. It's complicated.
I don't usually watch Crimewatch because it makes me despair for the future of humanity.

Watching it tonight and I utterly fucking despair of the future of humanity.

Acid attacks? Fuck off you utter shits.
Robbing vulnerable old ladies in their homes? Just go and headbut a plate glass window.
Waiting in public toilets to abuse kids... Just go and dip your balls in boiling water you utter fuckstain.
