Indeed, enjoy Craig.

Just watched Ep 9 and 10 of the Mentalist ahead of the finale. I presume you were talking about Ep 9 RB? Wounded. Great episode though, really enjoyed it, my favourite of the season by some distance. Jane has been golden again in this series, but how good are both Abbott and Cho? I really wish we had these for longer. I've seen it mentioned that warner bro's are interested in doing something with Simon Baker. Be it a spin-off, or a feature series (IE - A serial killer per series or something).

I hope it's not completely dead in the water though. Really enjoyed it.

Love this show. You seen the South Africa episode?

Kemp's face after hearing the stories from the 3 crack heads. Fair play to him for not ripping their heads off.

Yeah, powerful.

Yeah I noticed that, the way it turns when the guy starts laughing.

The second guy in the car too.

So the Mentalist ends tonight with a 2 hour episode.... be a fantastic show. Going to miss it. Hopefully Simon Baker gets another gig as he deserves it and has been fantastic. I think he's contracted to Warner Bro's for a couple more years yet so hopefully they get him into something.

Catching up with the new episodes of stalker, still pretty good, nothing groundbreaking but worth a watch.

Finished Dexter this morning.

The ending isn't as bad as people make out.

It was horrendous although I think it's heightened by how pissed off people were with the final season in general.

Just watched The Mentalist finale. I can't believe Lisbon was Red John all along.

I don't see what alternative would have been better.

Killing him wasn't going to happen.

I would have preferred to see him leave with Harrison, or even stay in Miami and carry on his work.

They clearly should have killed him. The original writer who left after Season 4 (I think) said his planned ending was that the camera pans out and you think it was all a dream but it turns out he's in the execution chair. The idea that the option they chose was perfectly logical is laughable. It was completely batshit.

Nah, he's not a deep enough character plus we already know his backstory. I do find it weird they never explored more with him in detail throughout though - the was obviously Rigsby/Van Pelt and Cho had like that brief period where you learnt about his gang past and his girlfriend and then he had the thing with the fit prossie who was in Entourage but they were both pretty small snippets. He never had a consistent storyline, even his promotions to FBI then head of department had no build-up, it was like 'oh yeah, I'm in the FBI now' and 'I'm leaving, Cho's taking over'. Which sucks a bit because he was the best secondary character in the whole thing for me - and his past with the Playboys was much more interesting than Lisbon's brothers or Rigsby's Dad.

He wouldn't be able to carry a show on CBS as a main character though, no chance.

Might have to watch this on 4OD.

Anything to do with America and its fucked up citizens is definitely worth a watch.

The only thing that would make it better is if Louis Theroux is presenting.

Its defiantly worth a watch I find documentarys about the american prison system fascinating and terrifying at the same time, America the greatest country in the world ? The most fucked up and twisted more like.

Probably the reason any documentary about the place is always a decent watch.

Agree that anything to do with their prison/justice system is interesting.

Their penal system makes huge amounts of money and is effectively slave labour as well, so it benefits the government if sentences are long for relatively minor crimes. An utter turd of a nation.

About to watch the revolution spin-off that was on BBC3 last night. The original 3 series were fucking brilliant if a little repetitive so hopefully it will continue in the same way.

Agree and young men who have done relatively minor crimes including first time offences under the influence of drugs or alcohol are serving 35 years before parole. While im not condoning the crimes commited some of the sentances are absurd.

I recomend watching BBC Two This World: Life In Solitary

Grime hardhitting documentary and one of the best ive seen.

For some of the utter sociopaths they have over there or the more hardened 'gang-banger's' I actually agree with the US in that respecrt that they should be locked up in solitary 23 hours of the day, they chose their paths and I've not a shred of sympathy for those who commit such heinous crimes. However, the extreme excessive sentences dished out in other circumstances is inexcusable; even those who ran the gulags weren't that harse at times!

Thats the real question why so many & why would you actively pursue that life something very wrong there.
