Oh ar!! I wish Dakota Fred was back though.

Same, I wonder what ever happened to posting their new season (last year now obviously) on a youtube sort of series? Probably didn't get the funding for it! I heard Fred left because he wanted a pay rise from Discovery, so it's his own fault really.

Yeah? I heard he also didn't like the way he was portrayed by discovery.

There has been something on Facebook about him doing some filming so I assume you'll be able to find it somewhere.

Friday Night Lights.

Utterly predictable, clichéd, teen angst American bollocks........ and yet I seem to spend a lot of my time wishing I grew up to be a high school Texan quarterback with a beautiful girlfriend who went on to win the state championships and had an understanding Coach to fall back on every time I got in a jam.

Half way through series 4 of The Good Wife. Enjoying it so far, although it ends after series 5 on Netflix, I'm going to have to source the final two series elsewhere.

Yep, just reading through twitter - where Fred is very active, it seems he lost his wife in February which is sad. I remember her being quite ill during one particular season and Fred had to go home. Have you seen this weeks opening episode yet?

Not yet, it premieres on discovery tonight, but it's my Destiny night, so I won't see it.

Never gets going until the fourth week where Todd realises he's cleared the wrong overburden.

I normally agree with that - but without spoiling it for you, 2 of the 3 teams do a clean up tonight.

Discovery seem to have listened to their audience and scrapped that initial 2-3 starting episodes where it's about the teams getting equipment ready and moving to a claim. They literally just named the claims, then the teams were there.

Not ruining it for you - but it's worth watching.

Tony Beets is a proper bellend

Missed this when it was on the telly and thought it was okay. A crash in Essex leaving 6 dead and others injured. It tells of what happened before, during and after the prang, got a bit confusing at times but glad i stuck with it.

'The series follows a group of young FBI recruits; each has a specific reason for joining. Flashbacks detail their previous lives, while the recruits battle their way through training at the academy in Quantico, Virginia. However, the series will reveal in a flash forward twist that one of the recruits, upon graduating from the academy, will be suspected of masterminding the biggest terror attack on New York City since the September 11 attacks in 2001.'

It's a bit mental but good mental, not Homeland mental...well, a little bit Homeland mental except with a sexy lady instead of Claire Danes acting like a paranoid meth addict. It's 100% going to be one of those things that's really good for a season then progressively gets worse with each passing season but it's fun so far. It's good how they're all shady as fuck too, the FBI screening process of recruits must be horrendous.

The Leftovers:

Now into the second series, but this has really grown on me. It gets a bit confusing and it is bloody odd, but it is a good watch.

Just watched the first two episodes of The Last Kingdom. Based on Bernard Cornwell's Saxon and Viking stories. Worth a watch if this kind of thing interests you.

Watched season 1 and 2 of the Strain. Excellent series. Wish I didn't have to wait 8-9 months for S3

It was much better than i edxpected after having read the first 8 books in the series. My main complaint is that Uhtred had long blonde hair and bushy beard so looked like a Dane which helped him fool Danish lookouts in later books, the guy who plays him is dark haired and only has a wisp of hair under his chin. Usually watching a series or film after reading the book is a let down but there was enough to keep me interested.

He looks Danish enough I think. I would have preferred it to go through the books at a slower pace but you can't really do that with tv.

Just finished The Wire. Officially joint 1. with The Sopranos and 1,000 Ways to Die.

Now I need something good to watch. Problem is, most series are wank.

Try The Shield if you haven't done so; I'm going to rewatch it again one of those days.
