I read somewhere that the series only covers the first 2 books. The 9th book is out next month or April if like me you want it in paperback.

Yeh, I am on the 6th, read it a few years ago, was so keen that I went to the book signing and met Bernard Cornwell. Just ordered the 7th and 8th.

Can someone tell me why The Wire is regarded as one of the best TV shows ever, I found it just boring just like any other regular cop series.

Its not really a cop series, but the story of a city and its infrastructure. It does go along at a snail's pace, but when something does happen, its all the more powerful for it.

Started off well but became dull after about 6 episodes. I'd give it a go as the concept was decent just not done as well as i expected.

Watched the first 3 episodes of The Following starring Kevin Bacon. A total mind fuck gore fest which i'm loving, 15 episodes which i'll soon finish.

The first series is actually pretty good, the end of the second series quickly turned to turd though.

Anyway, anyone got any recommendations for Netflix? I'm half way through but I'm struggling to keep up, I can't deal with all the subtitles.

Quantico is so dope guys.

2 eps in.

Not sure what I think, aside from the fact the main lead is very fit. The cast seem wrong for the type of plot and it almost feels like Quantico itself reverts to almost a cheesy American Pie kind of atmosphere between kids at college.

There isn't enough stern characters or meaningful scenes to make it worthy of its supposed plot - as of yet anyway.

I'll give it the series.

The Border series 1 - Dull cliched Canadian drama with spooks fighting terrorists.
Haven series 1 - A bit of Twin Peaks and X-Files thrown in this isn't bad.

I can see what Tony would benefit from that change. However I personally think, in England anyway, the client issuing a contract (even if not signed) can be considered as an intent to enter into an agreement. Therefore I believe Parker would have a valid claim for expenses.

Just finished Series 3 of Ray Donovan. Its gone from strength to strength over the series. A great watch and thoroughly recommended.

Heard good things about this, will start series 1 next week.

The Blacklist is quite good. Being on Living it's not as dramatic or violent as some of the stuff on Atlantic but the story is pretty good.

Watching The Walking Dead, only on season 2, episode 10. So far it's pretty boring. Not a single decent character. I want them all to die.

When it was first shown here over 20 years ago it was different than anything else on telly,mind you it helped i was constantly stoned back then which made it more fun. Even cast members interviewed at the time hadn't a clue what it was about Stick with it as just gets stranger every episode.
