Yeah, they tried to do too much in two episodes. Should have been 4.

Plus Alice not being in it didn't help as i loved her lunacy and the chemistry between her and Luther.

My thoughts exactly.

There was enough going on here to make a normal length series. The potential to explore Alice's death, Luther's relationship with the new crazy woman, his run-in with a London gangster; all these dynamics had huge potential.

In squeezing everything in to two episodes, they didn't really do any of it justice.

Just tucking into the first episode of The Bridge.

Finished Homeland last week. Really enjoyed this series along with the last one. The programme is entirely better without Brody and his baggage.

I got Inside Number 9 for my birthday and have just watched the first two episodes. Bloody fantastic.

So well written and acted and a large dose of black humour. Just my cup of tea. Can't wait to finish it off.

That the doc about the brain of those that kill and they're circumstances and how they turn from normality to homicidal.

Nope, although I assumed it was something like that when I saw people talking about it. It's a Netflix original documentary series following the case of Steven Avery in the US. Was imprisoned for 18 years for rape/attempted murder or charges such as those, despite not committing the crime under circumstances which suggested the police were happy to see him go down rather than follow up on the evidence that suggested it was another guy.

Basically when he got exonerated, a woman was killed on his property and he's charged with murder...but he says he's innocent/been framed again and it follows the trial.

I made sure I avoided any press about the case since I started watching it but have found it gripping...watched about 5 hours of it last night.

That does sound interesting and worth a watch. Think the one I referred to was called the mind of a Murderer.

Yeah definitely seen something like what you described. Quite like a good crime doc.

Making a Murderer is brilliant.

Although the Brendan Dassey "interrogation" bits are really hard to watch.

Going to watch it either tonight or tomorrow, I hope they are more in line with the originals with it being set in the 19th Century.

I enjoyed it. It wasn't quite what I was expecting but good none the less. There's a few nods to the original stories (I won't spoil them by naming them).

I'm looking forward to the main series coming back next year now!

Quoting myself makes me a twat but there you go.

Just finished the two series'. Absolutely loved it. One of the best things I've watched in a long while. If you haven't seen it and like black comedy, I'd definitely recommend it. Hope they do a third.

Mum: " Hello"
Son: "Yeah"
Mum: "Yeah"

This bit of phone etiquette really pissed me off.

I'm really enjoying it though. Currently I'm on the 5th episode.

Making a Murderer gets more ridiculous with every episode. Just finished 5 and I'm fucking gobsmacked. There's 5 episodes left and I'm almost praying the prosecution get in at least a couple of damning bits of evidence cos it's almost a parody at this point. On the surface (I say this as I've done no research at all on the makers so they could have a massive agenda and a skill for clever editing) it's the worst, most error-filled attempt at a cover-up ever and they've somehow got away with it.

America is properly fucking mental.

I've only watched the first episode, I've been gripped by it. Looking forward to seeing how it plays out.

As an aside, Amazon Prime now allows offline viewing. Makes my commuting more fun, that's for sure.

Watched Making a Murderer over the course of two days, just couldn't stop watching it, one of the best documentaries I've watched.
Has anyone watched it all yet? What did you think?

Of the 3rd series or from the beginning?

Just finished the 3rd series and I reckon it was the best yet, absolutely loved the final episode and dare I say it Kim Bodnia leaving might have actually been a blessing in disguise - though I hope for a cameo in season 4.

Making a Murderer is probably the most shocking, eye opening thing I've ever seen.

The end of episode 4 is simply gobsmacking

It'd unbelievable, yet unfortunately not at all surprising
