I think we have left it too late, however we have restored some pride and my faith in the team. Boyce was immense today.

We have a chance - a slim chance - hopefully with some Lady Luck and a couple of other teams helping us out.
I have to say - Bolton where the worst team to come to the Pirelli. Showed no fight at all and look to be going down with.m a whimper.

It's quite likely a record will be broken for least number of points needed to stay in the Championship, which was Birmingham's pathetic showing of 44 points in 2013/14.

Is there any cause for optimism that the teams finishing 19th-21st will not be in the relegation mix again next season? Whoever wins the League 1 play-offs will be feeling confident of staying up, which they'll need to be given the poor quality of the teams involved down there.

Can't believe we're still in with a chance. I mean I use the word chance cautiously as we have to go to Derby but I am shocked this is still in our own hands.

We have been shite for months. Today was one of the most inept Reading performances in years. Heaviest home defeat for years. Can't see anything other than a cardiff win next Sunday.

Only thing that will probably save us is Barnsley and burton have to win and Birmingham draw for us to go down.

First game I've seen in the Clement era, and what a fucking shambles it was. Defensively all over the place, Tiago Ilori was an embarrassment - stealing a living at this club.

No urgency, we were moving the ball around like it was a training routine. Sone Aluko taking too many touches and killing off any ounce of pace to the game.

Chris Gunter as captain typifies the club at the moment, frankly. Not even good enough to play let alone lead out this group of wasters.

We won't beat Cardiff next week so we will have to rely on other teams - a big summer ahead, a good clear out is needed.

Is this team largely the same as the one who got to the play-off final last season, or much changed? If the former, how can they have turned to shit so quickly?

It's arguably a better squad on paper than the one we had last season, but I think there are a few big factors - we've missed Danny Williams terribly - his urgency, passion, work rate and defensive work has been missed in midfield. We replaced him with Dave Edwards who isn't at the same level. Ali Al-Habsi won us a lot of points last season and we replaced him with Vito Mannone who isn't up to much.

We brought in Sone Aluko - who was one of the best players in the league last season - who has done nothing. Yann Kermogant is over the hill, which left us which only one striker for the entire season. Jordan Obita has been injured all season so we've had to put up with Tyler fucking Blackett at left back. Too many issues to list.

Al Habsi put in one of the best goalkeeping displays I've seen against us last season, massive loss for you.

Really hope it's Reading or Birmingham that go down purely for logistical reasons. Barnsley and Burton are good away days as well.

Sums up just how bad we have been because he has been one of our better players in recent weeks not including yesterday.

Struggling to think of any players we should keep for next season.

Swift has been abysmal this season on the rare times he has played.

Kelly has been ok this season. Some games this season he has looked good but too often he goes missing in matches.

Its Danny williams presence in midfield that we've missed this season. Our midfield has been lightweight since he left.

Just hasnt worked for him here like the rest of our summer signings. Hasnt looked anywhere near the player he was whenever i saw him play for Wolves. Not surprised he hasnt scored many here though cause we are awful from corners and free kicks.

Amazing to think that 41 points could guarantee survival this year. Just a few years ago, Peterborough got to 54 and still went down.

I think Bolton will beat Forest, Barnsley will draw and Burton will lose, sending the latter two down. Although I'd like them both to stay up and for Bolton and Reading to drop.

We've had too many chances to pull away from this and blown it every time. The bottom line is we don't deserve to stay up based on the way we've performed this season. Luckily we're surrounded by a few other teams who have been equally inept all season.

I'm looking forward to Sunday. Our players need to go out there and throw everything at Derby, we can't rely on Burton and Bolton not getting results.

If we do manage it then wholesale changes need to be made in the summer because this season has been awful.

Going to be fun and games tomorrow with no doubt many twists and turns before 2.30pm
May the best ( of the worst ) teams stay up.
I’m resigned to relegation - so I’ve made my peace with Accrington away and A trip to Plymouth.
