Since we literally never win at the Emirates, and still have to go to Stamford Bridge, we're out. Top four should be set in stone now.

Its a tough one, if Liverpool even get a draw and we win our next 2 home games we go second.

Skrtel should be missing for the Arsenal match.

Can't see Liverpool gaining 7 points on Arsenal or 6 on Manchester United. Their significantly lower goal differential comes into play.

This. Unless we get all 3 points at the Emirates, which I don't believe will happen, we will finish in 5th or 6th, depending on how Spurs finish. Disappointing given how well we have played since New Year, but the damage was done between August and December.

i think if it comes down to it , i would like Everton to let United win at Goodison to hamper penaltypool's slim chance of scraping into 4th..............like we let City win last year.

Love to see Wiverpool in the Europa next year.

And to think you used the word 'obsessed' in another thread. Bless, I suspect the hypocrisy is lost on you.

Indeed. After all, the alternative would be absurd.

I love how United spend £172m this season, have no european football to distract them, yet scream about being 5 points ahead of a team who lost both their strikers from last season (one permanently and one for 5 months) and which they (United) outspent by over a £100m net.

Where is the class?

Well if you're going to mention the players lost.... What about Giggs, Vidic, Ferdinand, Evra, Wellbeck, Chicarito, Kagawa etc?

Losing players is not a good enough excuse. If you're big enough and good enough, they will stay and if they don't you're more than satisfactorily reimbursed. If they're at the end of their careers, it's been the clubs responsibility to make sure they'll be replaced. If they aren't then that's bad management.
The only time it's an acceptable excuse is if a players been wrecked by an injury and you've lost them and their value.

Also how can you mention Welbeck, Chicarito and Kagawa as players lost?
You've gotten rid of them at your own discretion because they weren't deemed good enough. You can't count them as losses really. While some fans will, (I'm thinking Scruff and Welbeck) the management have made the decision to get rid, so it's on your club that they are gone, it's not as if they've been taken a way from you and you've been fucked over.

JimJams is spot on. Kopper's excuses are rank. Liverpool haven't dealt with anymore injuries (arguably less) than Arsenal or United. Rodgers knew damn well that Sturridge is injury-prone just as Wenger knows his squad is made of glass. Suarez was sold for a fortune that brought in a handful of new players, which have largely been underwhelming. Liverpool, namely Rodgers, failed to address this properly.

When RvP left, Wenger bought Giroud, kept the ship steady, and now we have one of the best strikers in the league and are doing well relative to our last season with RvP.
