It didn't take long for France to score and it was a good passing move. I wonder how many more they will get.

The injury to the Korean goalkeeper made us lose our momentum. Should win this 5-0.

Canada vs Switzerland has been a great game so far.

Brazil out, this means England have a slightly better chance of winning. Don't think they will though, Semi-Finals is my prediction.

Bit more confident of winning the Germany game now after our emphatic win over Korea. Reckon the winner of the tie will win the competition. Canada progress and will face the winner of Norway/England.

Not sure how wise changing 3 of our back 4 is tonight. I'd have kept Stoney and Greenwood in but Sampson seems to prefer Bassett at CB and Rafferty at LB. Agree with the inclusion of Bronze at RB though. Not 100% sure on Katie Chapman coming back in. Thought she was very poor first game. I'd have had Scott in for this big game personally.

Clearly had no confidence in the defence in the last game then!

12 minutes to kick-off, what is everyone's prediction?

2-0 Norway for me.

A close game which could go all the way to pens, and then England will get beat.

We're showing a lot of respect to a side ranked below us...

We have a real inferiority complex against any half decent sides. It's getting quite irritating now. I'm not just talking about the women either, England at all levels.

This might be a good opportunity to put Aluko on. At the moment Norway are finding it too easy to push right up the pitch.

Marauding Vikings !
England need little fire-ships, second half.

That's what my partner tweeted to all and sundry. Thing is, I think she's right :emb::emb:

"Toni Duggan was barely in the game in the first half, making just 13 touches, fewer than any other England player. A change in attack needed?"

If Aluko is the answer what the fuck is the question? Duggan needs support - not her fault she's having to feed on punts into the channels and the nearest players being 30/40 yards away.

I can't actually believe he's taken off a cracking little player capable of making something out of nothing for a midfielder. We're going home and we deserve it because against the two half decent sides we've played in the competition, the manager's arsehole has gone and he's been far too conservative.

Credit where it's due, since we've gone behind we've responded and been flying into tackles. Might have to eat some humble pie as Jill Scott has been excellent.

Be a wonderful strike to win the game if we hold on.

Great stuff. After they scored and we had no choice but to go for it I thought we were the better side. Great strike to win it too. Scott and Taylor were brilliant when they came on, used the ball very well.

England finished strongly there.
What sort of chance do they have against the Canucks?

Canada aren't great. Game depends on how Canada deal with being the home side on a massive ocassion. Big game on Saturday now!
