Who harks on about Wales being a one man team? They get rightfully praised all the time for their ability to work as a team.

But beating Georgia doesn't prove anything, they're a squad full of nobodies who haven't won a single game in the group. The Ireland game is the real test.

England fans for one. Or at least the cretinous media side of them. My Twitter timeline was certainly full of England fans laughing about the Bake situation

Georgia drew with us in Cardiff and held Ireland to a draw in Tbisili last month. To say it wasn't a tricky game is to ignore certain things.

Austria won against Serbia. Kudos. Although they are already out this is a nice result for our neighbours. Unfortunately Wales and Ireland are playing against each other in the last match and Serbia at home against Georgia, so they'll get at least #2 spot.

Expect Italy will get through their play off and they'll be the side to avoid, although it looks as though Croatia will be in it as well which would make for one hell of a tie. The Welsh group is wide open but still expect Serbia to beat Georgia and win it, think Wales and Ireland will draw but not sure if that will be enough depending on how Bosnia? get on. Northern Ireland should have done enough for a play off spot, but would be surprised if they make it through. Surprised to see the likes of Argentina, Chile and Columbia haven't qualified yet from South America.

I think the Serbs may have a couple of fisticuffs if they do make it to Moscow. Add the Poles into the mix and it should be a riot.

Scotland bottom of the 2nd place teams but Greece cannot gain anymore points as such because they play bottom side Gibraltar so the latter are still in danger of missing out I guess.

Greece would only miss out if Wales & Scotland both win, and Ukraine v Croatia doesn't end in a draw. Wales can get through to the play offs if they draw and Ukraine and Croatia do too. That game in Kiev is winner takes all, as is Portugal v Switzerland.

In Africa it looks likely to be Nigeria (through), Egypt, Tunisia, Senegal and another winner takes all game in Ivory Coast v Morocco (MAR through with a draw).
There'll be quite a few unfamiliar names in Russia, I like it. Just a shame for the fans that they have to go to Russia...

Massive win tonight. Especially as it silences those who hark on about Wales being a one man team. Ireland is going to be massive especially if Georgia can play well in Belgrade. All to play for

Not saying I agree with that particular strand of opinion but I'm not sure that beating Georgia 1-0 exactly dispels the notion

I for one won't go to Russia even when I would get tickets for the World Cup final with Germany. But I think mistermagic will go.
