Boreham Wood - Aldershot
Chester - Guiseley
Dagenham - Dover
Forest Green - Eastleigh
Gateshead - North Ferriby
Lincoln - Solihull
Macclesfield - Wrexham
Maidstone - Bromley
Southport - Barrow
Sutton - Braintree
Woking - Torquay
York - Tranmere

Pick of the fixtures is probably the money-bags derby at the New Lawn, after both sides had a stutter at the weekend. Lincoln have a relatively easy fixture to consolidate their lead at the top. Daggers and Rovers both have tougher matches. If I escape work in time, will be at Bootham Crescent. Unhappy memories of the last visit, when we lost 2-0 and it started to dawn on us that our time as a football league side was ending. Can see Brabin setting us up ultra defensively and a scrappy draw at best.

I'm doing a bit of the trans penine rail ale trail en route to York tomorrow, stoping off at Stalybridge, Marsden, Huddersfield, Dewsbury and Leeds en route. Hopefully the football won't ruin my day out too much.
Suspect Brabin will have Tranmere set up for a 0-0 and now Rovers bubble has been well and truly burst I expect an away following of around 250.

After showcasing our AWESOME TOTAL FOOTBALL on telly on Saturday in our loss at Dover, I can see our UNSTOPPABLE MOMENTUM continuing tomorrow in what should be a quality game between 2 of the divisions heavyweights. Should be good.

This is my home game for the season... in typical fashion I'm actually in Birkenhead this week so I'm making the trip back up especially :ffs: Completely agree Brabin will set up for a 0-0, 200-250 SWA. Anything better than last time we were here would be great. Anything worse and I'm going into hibernation til April...

Win is obviously the mandatory expectation. General control of the game and goal difference will also be the secondary objectives.

Previous incarnations of Lincoln might have shat themselves in this position, potential big crowd and expectations, how funny is that. Somehow I think Danny Cowley is a little bit too good and clever for that.

Our local derby tomorrow - kind of. Southport have probably improved with a new manager coming in, but it's still a game we need to be getting a point from. I'd expect the likes of Hannah and Meikle to start after spells out of the side, and maybe even Turnbull coming into the middle.
I guess we're all just hoping that Ashley Grimes doesn't score a winner, because that really would be taking the piss.

Got a feeling we'll put Saturday's disappointment behind us and win 2-0.

Yep, looking forward to getting my least favourite trip out of the way, hopefully we can put Saturdays lacklustre performance behind us and get back to business as usual. It's a decent pitch at BW so we should be able to get our passing game going, I had a long chat with Charlie Walker on Saturday and he hopes to be on the bench, with a view to getting some game time, so it will be good to have a genuine finisher to put away the numerous chances we've been creating.

1-3 Shots, 260 travelling.

Is Hannah just out of favour then at the moment? Been surprised to see him warming the bench so much.

In theory Braintree at home is an easier game for us, but if we can't score then we'll always be vulnerable. Also hoping we're focuses on Braintree rather than next Saturday

Er...Scott Rendell?

Due to his lack of match fitness, we've been using him deeper to link the midfield, so most of the chances are coming from him. After a year out its going to take him 20 games to be fully sharp, until then when I envisage we go to a proper 2 up top, we are lacking a poacher, which Charlie is.

Quietly confident, looking to make it 4 unbeaten since the Tranmere/FGR double header and it's reaching the point in time that we really started to settle into our new environment last season and went 11 unbeaten. Feel we're getting more comfortable up here now so hopefully the same will happen again. Bromley haven't looked great either so far, so could be the first big win we get, going for 3-0. Bullish.

Battle of the hattrick heroes and two teams who witnessed 16 goals between them on the weekend.

0-0 then.

I just can't see us beating Tranmere, but a draw is conceivable. If we start like we have been doing, we'll be two down before we wake up.

Need to be wining tonight, obviously.

Play how we have been and they'll be no problem.

Yip usually exciting games V FGR, i'll take a 1-1.
We are now very hard to beat and are scoring goals again & we haven't been conceding many either (just 1 goal conceded in last 5 games).

Yeah, he just hasn't been able to get going. The first few games showed that he doesn't fit our style, but the few chances he had he seemed to snatch at. Obviously the fans are using his absence as an excuse for not winning the last two home games, but the truth is, he doesn't look all that sharp and maybe low on confidence.

Looks like he's missed quite a few decent chances in recent games judging from the highlights show.

How's Jake Cole done for you so far?

I'm working in Chesterfield today, so I could reasonably go home via Macclesfield and take in the match. Or if I wanted a more exciting evening, I could go straight home and do some ironing.

Macc would have to be pretty dismal to lose to us at home the way we've been playing: 2-0 to Macclesfield.

He only had one goal for us at this time last year and didn't get his third until early/mid October. Funnily enough we were doing alright then as well, started to go downhill when his goals came!

He's missed a few I would expect him to have been putting away before his injury, but it will take time and hopefully in a few weeks time he'll be sticking them away.

Jake Cole has been outstanding, genuinely think he is one of, if not, the best keepers in the division. A real factor why we have the joint best defence so far.
