Jesus christ he got the bingo balls out today.....Two centre halfs Two right backs Crawford in for Sarcevic.....Darcy on the bench
Can only see us going 442 with this line up very interesting.....Santos kept his place despite 3 shockers
7 subs allowed but no forward on the bench ffs

One change for us from the Crawley game with Manny coming in for Burgess. Got to think the right call from Askey. Will be a matter of time before Burgess gets another shot but Manny was superb midweek and fully deserves the start.

Another bizarre starting line up, somewhat due to injuries but still weird regardless.

No actual full backs playing, a CM and a CB filling in. Two massive strikers up top and our best player on the bench.

The opening stages of the second half Southend have really fallen apart in a manner we're used to seeing our own team do. This worries me though as we've had some great chances and could, or should be 4-0 up. I fear not taking those chances could come back to haunt us.

Great to see Manny Oyeleke return to the XI, first league start in a year after injury and only managed 1 and a half games at the start of last season and 10 minutes at Orient after his last return. Looked back to his best in the cup games against Tranmere and Fleetwood.

Tough game. Exeter are a top 7 side and always a battle to get anything from them. Take a point if offered now!

Only 1 up front for Rovers today. Feels a bit cautious for a home game.

For fans of symmetry, the last game to be played in front of fans league 2 saw Carlisle win 2-0 against opposition wearing yellow with the goals scored by omari Patrick and Josh Kayode and referreed by Graham Salisbury.

Nadesan injured today for Crawley...yesterday everyone was fit.

Looks as though Francomb at right back. Probably due to the roasting Davies got from Devante Rodney last week. Bulman into midfield.

Front three of Matthews, German and Nichols doesn't shout lots of goals but I hope Im wrong.

Can't argue with that. Can only blame your owner for it though, your players are youngsters not ready to carry the team by themselves and your manager can't bring anyone else in.

Our owner is a nutjob. Thinks we're a promotion team

Your keeper, who I noticed was getting a lot of stick for what he did against Harrogate had a good game. Kept the score down in the second half when the rest of your players were trying everything they could to concede more.

Will have to see the replay but at first glance looks to me like Leon got away with one big time on Bowman in the box. Looked a penalty to me in real time anyway. Other than that can see Exeter want to target our fullbacks which is going to be a theme this season I think.

That first half was tragic. Two terrible teams with one bit of quality all half which was their goal. Think there's been more misplaced passes then completed ones.

Our formation is terrible and needs to be changed.

Stunner from Conlon, had heart in mouth for the pen claim although Bowman didn’t claim so probably wasn’t much in it.

We have played well, one lapse when Bowman got in behind but had a couple of chances and so far so good.

Big half coming up.

Decent half against a very good team. We've gotten better as the half has gone on though Brown came to our rescue when Bowman was through on goal.

Other than that Manny played well and once Rodney improves his decision making he is going to be some player.

Dull first half. Mansfield have been ale house and we haven’t been able to break them down. Danny Johnson hit the post but nowt else to report.

We were ok, not bad, not great. The game started scrappy, typical of 2 teams with rock bottom confidence. The first goal settled us down and it was pretty comfortable after that. Furman made a difference for us, made our midfield that bit more competitive, the front 3 all worked hard.

Still a long way off being a decent team though and seriously lacking in certain areas, but it’s a welcome 3 points and takes off some pressure until our next defeat.

Been a poor game going off a poor commentary but we've just handed Bradford the lead with the keeper parrying straight to Novak. Gah.
