Cards had the advantage with his weapon, but his extreme hunger makes it difficult to lift the bow in time and Harv is able to quickly close the distance. They both try a wild headbutt at one another... and it knocks them both out. They both wake up back in the arena and the teleporting platforms have all turned off... against all odds here, Cardsfan actually managed to get a draw! Harvs seems to like these draws...

Nobody gets the potato.

So after all that, all that was claimed was a steak, a rotten streak and nothing at all .

As with before, the winds blow south... being south of C0 is not advised!

So for the first room... we have a table absolutely covered in more food than anybody could possibly eat. This is the all you can eat buffet, the main prize!

And... nobody shows up Unfortunately, nobody has been taken to this room, so the food goes to waste. If just one person had ended up here, they'd have eased their way to a massive meal.

I have a hunting skill of 3, second only to Veggie, along with my tribute friend Harvs, yet this particular thing seems to have been of no fucking help to me whatsoever.

Have you even been adding it to my BR when fighting the pigeon and the rabbit??
It seems highly unlikely that on 2 occasions with at least a 6BR that I'd lose the battle and HP with it.

It's incredible, but it is actually just a case of having extremely bad luck on both occasions. Both times you only rolled a 1 while the pigeon/rabbit rolled a 2... the odds of that happening once must be huge, but twice to the same person does look a bit beyond a joke

Okay cheers Oaf. the odds were massively stacked in my favour on both occasions with my hunting stat alone I was higher than both, added to my BR I should've killed both. Was just asking as it was making me nervous about potential future hunts as my BR is currently reduced due to hunger, and wanted to just be assured that the +3 was being added on.

As you say just incredibly bad luck. BTW, you stingy fucker, stop burning all the good stuff, and give me summat on one of my squares ffs man.

SUTSS (2, 2hp) vs Elmo (5, 1hp) - Mr Elmo has the advantage here, but if he somehow manages to slip up he could become the first tribute to be killed by another!

Last Request (8, 3hp) vs Haddock (8, 5hp) - Two equals and highly rated tributes go to battle!

Veggie Legs (7, 4hp) vs Harv (4, 3hp) - The favourite for the games goes into this fight with the advantage, but Harv is certainly capable of coming out of this with a win!

SUTSS (2, 2hp) vs Elmo (5, 1hp)
SUTSS did as well as he could here, but his incredible thirst and growing hunger held him back here. Elmo speared him through the leg and SUTSS limped away. Perhaps SUTSS would have stood more of a chance if he'd eat that Rabbit he's carrying around!

Last Request (8, 3hp) vs Haddock (8, 5hp)
This really could have gone either way, and really was a rather epic battle. The two beat the hell out of each other, but after a while Haddock finally took the advantage. Just as LR realized that he was fighting a losing battle, he threw his net over Haddock and was able to get away.

Veggie Legs (7, 4hp) vs Harv (4, 3hp)
Harv managed to get a somehow seemingly mutually agreed draw with Spirederman, but Veggie wasn't having any of that nonsense. Harv swung his can opener at Veggie and tried to use it to pry off his ear, but Veggie said "Woof woof! woof woof woof!" and knee'd him in the bollocks. Harvs stumbled off, taking 1hp of damage and with a severely decreased chance of having kids if he gets out of this alive.

A few people getting to that dangerous 0/0 for hunger thirst... one of which is one of the strongly considered favourites, Cardsfan. He's currently only 2 days from dying of starvation if things don't change.

Last Request (8, 3hp) vs The Hand of Dom (13, 4hp) - The biggest fight in terms of the fighting skill of people involved, if either of these had come up against anybody else in a fight today they've have fancied themselves as the favourite... alas, they are meet each other.

Haddock (6, 5hp) vs Murphy (3, 6hp +2 body armour) - Haddock has a great chance to chip away a bit more at Murphys armour, but Murphy can still pull off an upset. No matter what, the winner of this will still be coming out of it with very good hp.

Spirederman is taken out very quickly by Veggie Legs who breaks his wrist, so he gets himself out of there. He is looking in a bad way. Harv fares a little better, but isn't able to compete with Veggies superior fighting abilities and after taking a crushing blow to his ribs, Harv also backs away to where he came from. Veggie takes the square and the other two are both put onto 1hp!

Last Request (8, 3hp) vs The Hand of Dom (13, 4hp)
LR enters the square and feels as if he is being watched... he suddenly feels a sharp stabbing pain through his right shoulder, and when he looks at it he sees an arrow sticking out of it! He gets the hell out of the square, taking 1hp of damage... he didn't even see or hear anything of THOD here!
And as a bonus... THOD finds:
A Rat (2BR, +20 food, 10) to hunt!

Haddock (6, 5hp) vs Murphy (3, 6hp +2 body armour)
Once again, the well equiped Murhpy finds himself out matched here due to his poor hunger and thirst stats. Haddock is able to easily out fight him and after he's done with Murphy, Murphys body armour is really starting to look as if it's falling to pieces.
