I want to win, but not at the expense of other teams getting penalised for things that shouldn't have any bearing on the game. If LR can get away with posting the word 'bold' every time he claims a fight spot, you can waver this.

On the one hand, rules are the rules... spots taken, even in error, must have characters placed. And if this were to be let off, it doesn't exactly seem fair on past occasions where people have been fined.

However...

It was, on this occasion, clearly an OAF'Ding that hadn't been picked up... an honest mistake. And it would cripple GNC pretty badly... if it let to their ultimate downfall, it'd be a pretty shit way for them to go out and I'm sure other teams wouldn't want to win on that basis. Right?

So I'm happy to leave it to the people. I do think it's a bit harsh, and Lee at least seems to agree. So if I get one other person who is happy to let them off for this, on this occasion, I shall waiver the fine.

If another GNC member had posted 10 minutes later, then I'd say fair enough to the fine. But I was in the thread and they posted at literally the same second. We're all human. It's not really in the spirit of the game if after nearly 3 months, they get a big fine for something like that, in my opinion. It'd feel cheap to have their chances lowered that way. I want to annihalate them fairly.

That's a standard thing that has always been allowed in games like this for when people are on phones etc. Oaf and Munkiki have been consistent with that, if they said it wasn't allowed then I wouldn't have done it.

I agree with this. It shouldn't be too hard to coordinate within your team, but, having said that, it seems a harsh fine in the circumstances.
