There is a certain element of luck but not as high as 90% in my opinion. Good decision making gives you every chance of being lucky.

GNC have splashed out way too much money throughout and are paying for it. Paying 1 million at ammunition when they have a high wage bill was just asking for it. Almost as criminal as having Prof X taking 65k a week and barely fighting simply because his power doubles Xavier's School.

Stag are the only team who can bemoan consistent bad luck. You make your own luck to an extent in this game and in my opinion GNC have played a shocker throughout and been saved by wins in bonus fights.

Yeah, 90% was an exaggeration. Still a significant factor though; you could make consistently good decisions and still do badly (or the opposite).

Regarding luck, I'd say it's similar to something like Fantasy Football. You can base your team on form/who's value for money/history or what not, but ultimate it's going to come down to things you can't actually influence yourself. It's basically a case of betting on the right horses, being as tactical as you can, and then just keeping your fingers crossed that the 1FF Wars gods smile upon you.

ALSO: Still on track for that battle of the minds in 20 minutes.

Maybe we shouldn't have spent so much, however it could be argued that we've been so successful in the bonus fights because we've spent more than other teams, therefore being able to field strong characters in the heavyweight battles as well as the bonus'. Not forgetting that our two heavyweights who didn't cost a wage were taken away from us.

Question 1 coming in roughly one minute. Anybody not in either SBF or 3DD answering the questions will have their team fined £100,000. So you know. Don't do it.

1) Charmander was the original fire starter pokemon. Announced only a couple of days ago, what is the name of the newest fire-type starter Pokemon for Pokemon Sun and Moon?

Correct!

That's 3-0, LR once again proving to be a beast when it comes to FFF. This one is over, but fuck it, here's question 4 anyway:

4) In what year as Zapp Brannigan born?

We equipped the MG to Gandalf.

Yeah, I did amend that actually... though I see that I only changed the BR on my own sheet as I'm writing up the results and didn't actually add it into the card on here. But yeah, he's got it equipped for the actual result.

Stagat though, what's wrong with it? Got the results ready to go but now I'm paranoid...

Right, that should be sorted

Slight edit to two fights on that card, Pokemon Stadium and Wonderland.

I had the results all up, will have to reroll Wonderland. I'll post the rest up now though seeing as they're good to go:

Golden Rod City
Lightweight
Battle of the minds!
Charmander 3DD beaten by Zapp Brannigan SBF

South Park
Lightweight
Butters Stotch [South Park] – 8BR 3HP 1D6 GNC vs Super Meat Boy – 4BR 9,988HP 1D4 STAG

Super Meat Boy… has he won a fight so far? He’s taken 12hp of damage, and I don’t remember him winning… so he must be 0-12. However… NOT ANYMORE! He’s managed to pull of a little upset here and overcome Butters who has twice his BR plus another 2 on the dice. Disaster for GNC as they badly need to retain territories and this is one they should have had locked in.

WWE Arena
Lightweight
The Undertaker [WWE] – 10BR 3HP 1D6 STAG vs Sterling Archer – 9BR 3HP 1D6 T6

The Undertaker looks beaten, but does his sit up from the dead thing which scares the shit out of Archer. Archer panics and walks straight into a chokeslam, followed by a tombstone. KO!

The Undertaker is now on an undefeated streak of 2-0, boosting him another 2BR.

Pokemon Stadium
Middleweight
Jesse Pinkman STAG goes unopposed

Jurassic Park
Middleweight
Hulk Hogan [WWE] – 11BR 1HP 1D6 T6 vs Rorschach – 15BR 3HP 1D6 – £250,000/£35,000 3DD

Rorscharch is equipped with the portal gun.

Rorschach would have been pretty confident going into this one even without the Portal Gun, but was shocked to find that Hogan put up much more of a fight than he expected. Hogan asked him what he was gonna do when Hulkamania ran wild on him, and Rorschach started to talk about how society was like a dog in a gutter. Neither cared much for one another’s conversation, but when the fighting got going Hogan hit Rorscharch with a big leg drop after a big boot, and that was that. Hulkamania lives on!

Xaviers School
Middleweight
Kevin McCallister – 13BR 3HP 1D10 3DD and Carl "CJ" Johnson [Grand Theft Auto] – 13BR 3HP 1D6 (2) go unopposed

Nostromo
Middleweight
Jafar [Disney] – 17BR 1HP 1D6 GNC goes unopposed

Mt Olympus
Heavyweight
Gandalf w/Combat MG [Fellowship of the Ring] – 23BR 2HP+3 {Heavy Armor} 1D6 GNC vs Uroboros Trevor Philips [Grand Theft Auto] – 20BR 1HP 1D8 OAF

Both actually got awful scores… but luckily for GNC, Gandalf was the less awful of the two. He cut off all of Trevors tentacles and, finally, put Trevor Philips to rest. A vital defence for GNC, plus it puts an end to Team OAF for now…

Rapture
Heavyweight
Donatello [Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles] – 20BR 1HP 1D10 T6 goes unopposed

Wonderland

Magic Broom [Disney] – 3BR 1HP 1D6 SBF vs Shade of Link – 20BR n/aHP 1D12+1D6 STAG vs Drax [Guardians of the Galaxy] – 19BR 2HP 1D6 3DD

The Magic Broom won this one, obviously.

But no. Drax took a dump on the floor and used the broom to mop it up, before hacking it into pieces. Which of course, while killing the broom… means that SBF gain two new additions to their roster:

Magic Broom 2 [Disney] – 2BR 1HP 1D6 – £100,000/£3,000 – Duplication
Magic Broom 3 [Disney] – 2BR 1HP 1D6 – £100,000/£3,000 – Duplication

(Yeah and I’m gonna call T6’s Magic Broom 1… all these brooms are gonna get hard to keep track of )

Drax and Link fought well, both giving a good account of themselves. Drax went to hit Cap with a Batista Bomb, but get a sword to the eye instead. Link wins!

Right, no time to do the summary/OP/offers and what not as I've got to get my arse in gear to get out. If Munkiki is unable to do it, I'll look to get back on here at some point after Argyles playoff tonight to sort that all out. And possibly punish SBF if the result doesn't go the way I want it to, because I'll hold Don Tonberry single handedly responsible.

Glad I spent so long writing such a memorable rap that time.
