It's no surprise with our batting line-up that we've been putting on the runs, but it's the bowling attack I've really been impressed with.

After Chapple retired I was worried we'd struggle to replace him, but the likes of Jarvis, Bailey and Clark have all stepped up, particularly Jarvis, and we've looked strong in pretty much every game so far. Long may it continue.

Lilley's performance will pretty much guarantee that Steve Parry will be moving on if he ever wants to play first-class cricket though...

Yeah, for someone who's had a fair amount of success in the shorter formats, he hasn't really ever made much of an impact in the four day side. But as you point out, with Lilley and Kerrigan turning out performances like that, there just doesn't seem to be an opportunity for him.
