Absolutely, even managed 20 at Lords the other night in what was an absolute shocker.

Somerset's problem continues, getting in people who can get it done with the bat, but don't really have a star bowler in any format. Thomas is past it in limited overs, have said so for the past 2 seasons. You see other counties bring in star bowlers all the time, Siddle playing for 2 different counties over last 2 seasons as an example.

Going to Trent Bridge later for the Notts/Leics T20 BLAST. Went the other week when Yorks beat us but hoping for better tonight with Hales, Broad and Sammy playing. Should be a nice evening in the sun drinking cider whatever happens.

Well losing to Durham in that fashion cost us valuable points and sees us bottom of the table atm, we are in real trouble at the moment. Batting is worse than last season, little improvement in a poor bowling attack (Craig Overton looking promising) and the definite loss of Kieswetter leaves us in a bad position for keeping too, Barrow isn't up to it. Division 2 beckons.

Poor Karl Brown was out for 96 - he is never going to get another century. I don't get it - he's really talented and he was a really important part of the team that won the Championship four years ago, but hasn't scored a ton since and averages 25 after 65 First Class games.

Another innings win for Lancashire, this time within 3 days. Kyle Jarvis has 55 wickets from 9 matches; he's having a ridiculous season so far. We should win division 2 by many points.

Great chase from Somerset! 402 chased down with 2 wickets left. Debut game for Michael Bates as well who we picked up recently, proper glovesman batting 8 or 9 for us, so Barrow doesn't have to play.

Great stuff from Somerset, thought it looked a bit out of reach overnight. Bates is rated very highly as a wicketkeeper, just a bit of a shame that he's not a bit more use with the bat.

I'd be happy if this proves to be a turning point for Somerset.

Notts continue to struggle despite having probably the second most talented squad in the country. He's been a part of the club's transformation of the years but you wonder if Newell's job is in danger if we keep failing to win enough stuff.
