Out situation is bad enough with yet more years in exile up in sodding Evesham. But if we lost Tim Harris we'd be even more in trouble, think this may be the catalyst that starts Worcester's downfall. Doubt many will be rushing to take that job given the circumstances.

For over 30 years i have supported the Shaymen. No matter what the division and no matter what the FA, tinpotters or keyboard warriors say. That is enough for me.

Curzon Ashton....and Carlisle
Cracking win for curzon on sat, been an excellent week and yet again a superb astute signing from the manager....Warburton in doing nowt from Salford and bangs 3 goals in 2 games for us. although i have to say we had as such 2 additions this last week which made an enormous impact at the club, Daniel shaw their main centre back has been injured nearly all season, he went out to ahston Utd to get games and started the last 2 games, he was the player which most impressed me when i started watching them and has been a huge miss all season, no surprise he returned and we suddenly look strong at the back.

Following curzon is more frustrating than Carlisle because you can see the team has the base to be easily a top 5 side, but is just 1-2 quality players in key areas off this......the old missing jigsaw piece. Manager starts season with 1-2 pieces missing, found it with Morgan who soon left for elsewhere, then we look bog standard again, then find our pieces and look good again....will rally and finish well but too late to push top 5 now, then come end of season we lose 2-3 key players to other sides and have exact same problems again.

oh well Tameside Derby tomorrow.

It's a shame for Curzon that they lose such influential players. Whenever we've played you in the past it's always been a tough game and then I saw you at our place and I thought to myself this is the worst Curzon side I've seen. A couple of months later and you become one of 3 teams to beat us this season. Would never of pictured that after the showing at our place

Don't need an improvised site like Wikipedia......lol......to know your club were formed less than 10 years ago.
Did boro and the two city's retain their relevant league membership? Yes they did. Did the proper Halifax Town? No. If you knew ought about the game and the processes around administration and football club holding companies you would know that without a licence to play in the division it inhabits a club is dead. Your first club died. End of.

Humorous too that despite deriding the division and lower leagues like it is an insult on your start up, you now count the pub league wins now.
I know I support a Northen non league club, sadly there are a few who dont get what division they play in.

Haha great about turn there. Now counting the titles won by your made up tin pot club in divisions you normally seem to see as being beneath a club with less than 10 years history. Best of luck getting to that centenary. Even more luck getting to the football league. As ever is fun watching. Maybe you lot and the big club county should go off and form an alternative football league and play each other every week in an ode to your promised land.

Or perhaps you should get used to the tin pot 'Sunday league' teams and grounds being as you are both in the NON LEAGUE second tier and we can all get back to laughing at your illusions of grandeur as you flail around getting embarrassed by us tinpotters. Like the man u fans of non league, all whilst decent clubs like Darlo do it without fuss and more impressively fan wise.

You'll like this, because the explanation is simple, like you. There were different outcomes, because different rules applied. Bristol City set the template for clubs to shed debt and start afresh, consequence free. This was achieved by winding up the club's holding company and forming a new one, (you'll remember I mentioned Bristol City 1982 ltd, right?). This was no more and no less than Halifax Town did in 2008. You can talk all the shit you like, you can never change those facts. There were no consequences, because no-one had done it before. Bradford City soon followed their example and Middlesborough did the same. By the time we got around to it, it was no longer a scot-free option. I suggest you google the FAs rules about new clubs and deferred entry into their cups. They are quite clear, even a moron like you should be able to grasp them. A new club must wait 2 years before entering the FA Trophy and 3 years before entering the FA Cup. You can twist and turn and wriggle and writhe all you like, you'll never get yourself off that hook.

And not a change of heart at all, just an opportunity to compare records with a real Tin Pot outfit in their own environment. Sorry to leave you wandering confused, with your trousers round your ankles wondering why your bum is sore. :fl: :bdick:

Exactly point i tried to put across i.e. what makes a club a new club. I think you have put it better than me. If the fa suspend licence and you reform a few divisions lower its a new club

You were much more interesting when you had angry rants about BT Sport hating the north.

They did also look like a 6 year old had typed them, so at least that's stayed consistent.

Chib Chilaka is off to Gainsborough Trinity.

Whether it was his lack of impact or another center forward a casualty of Harrogate Town, of many, we will find out. One thing for sure Chib is a bloody good bloke.

Curzon fully deserved the win on Saturday. Number 7 was quality. Our management need to get their heads out of the sand, and do something about a defence that looks like conceding every time the ball is in our half. No doubt we'll sign another forward though, as that's what we do.

Drew 0-0 with Stalybridge last night. I could not go as in process of moving (ironically 5 mins from Stalybridge ground) and had too much to do........drab game seems to be the reports.

Typical we beat two of the best sides then fail to beat one of the worst, but 7 points from our toughest week.

Not really a good result for staly. We have a huge game sat to kill off BPA and put us nearly safe

If you could make sure you win that one it would be much appreciated.

Regarding the game tonight v Halifax I seriously doubt it will be on.

We have been continually praised for a having a fantastic playing surface then after a bitterly cold day on Thursday the Forest Under 23 gme gets called off. it gets called off. The following day the thaw is so great it causes standing water to remain on the pitch and ever since Friday its just got even wetter.

Brackley 0-2 Stockport
Gloucester 2-0 Tamworth

as it stands Stockport jump into top 5 currently, darlo knocked out.

Tamworth starting to drop away from it all really, Brackley will depend on their numerous games in hand

Well I wasn't expecting that :2thumb:

Starting to look like serious play off contenders now. Our away form is second only to Fylde and we're regularly taking points off play off rivals. Still have a nagging feeling we'all fall just short however. We are pretty underwhelming at home and if Lloyd does get sold or injured I'm not sure anyone else has proved themselves capable of consistently providing what he does in goals and creativity. Either way it's nice to go into the last third of the season with a serious chance of getting into the play offs for the first time in many many years (and not relying on some vague hope of going on a 10-game winning streak).

I think it will be between ourselves, Halifax and Chorley for the last two playoff spots. It probably depends on us being able to find that elusive a striker who is capable of leading the line and score at a decent rate.

In other promotion chasing news - Salford have re-signed another really talented player in Nick Haughton on loan from Fleetwood - they are really going for it.
