Further to my earlier post, you can now view our Pre Season fixtures on the website. There are also a few additions to the list:

16th July we host Didcot Town on our 3G pitch at 11:30am followed by an away game at Flackwell Heath at 3pm on the same day.

And on the 21st July we host locals, Hanwell Town on our 3G pitch.

Hayesand Yeading Preseason fixture list 2016/17
9th-10th July-- Geoff Harvey Vase @Corinthian-Cas.
12th July-- Metropolitan Police (A) 7:30pm
16th July-- Didcot Town (H) 11:30am (3G pitch)
Flackwell Heath (A) 3pm
21st July-- Hanwell Town (H) 7:30pm (3G pitch)
26th July-- Uxbridge (A) 7:30pm
29th July-- Hendon (H) 7:30pm (Inside the actual Stadium)

Further changes likely
(Full ground update coming soon!) :woot:

Also the Margate game that was supposed to be on 12th July looks like that won't go ahead...instead it's the plod.

I'm looking to go to all games bar Flackwell Heath. Also quite surprised to not see our usual game against Ascot United on there...maybe that'll be announced later.

We have top flight outfit Middlesbrough on July 9th. We'll get pasted but it'll be nice to see the Bradleys Halliday and Fewster again.

So far ours is looking like this...

8th July - Liverpool (H)
16th July - Heswall (A) @ 12:00
16th July - Vauxhall Motors (A) @ 16:00
19th July - Bolton Wanderers (H) (Bolton first team, Warwick Rimmer testimonial)
23rd July - Northwich Victoria (A)

Not sure if we're adding to that or not, but I expect one or two more fixtures to appear.

...and we've got Donny Rovers. Seen them in cup competitions the last two seasons. Meh.

We have announced a preseason friendly with Grimsby!

Saturday 16th July 3pm. Bad news is I will miss it as I will be in London for Star Wars Celebration!

We have got Nottingham Forest coming down on Tuesday the 19th of July, that should be a good gate with many Forest fans in Lincoln, find it hard not to snarl at them as I don't really like Forest having lived and worked there.

You liking Star Wars is the least surprising thing I've ever heard.

In addition to the Liverpool fixture, we'll also be playing AFC Liverpool and City of Liverpool FC. Basically, if you have 'Liverpool' in your title, we're playing you.

I think ours are finalised now with Peterborough added to the list yesterday.

Friday 8th July - Grantham Town (a) (Lincs Senior Cup)
Tuesday 12th July - Boston United (a)
Saturday 16th July - Reading (h)
Monday 18th July - Gainsborough Trinity (a)
Tuesday 19th July - Nottingham Forest (h)
Saturday 23rd July - Lincoln United (a)
Tuesday 26th July - Peterborough United (h)
Saturday 30th July - Crewe (h)

I'm assuming the Gainsborough one will be a Lincoln XI, predominately U18's.

If we beat Grantham, they'll be another Lincs Cup game in there, too.

I'm assuming most, if not all, are back in pre-season training tomorrow like us?

Forget that, the new Forest manager has scrapped plans to play us and has instead arranged a game on the same night against Port Vale. Not very impressed, bigger clubs that mess others about like that is pathetic, we rely on friendlies to get decent gate receipts and it was going to probably be our most lucrative friendly. Thanks Philippe Montanier you @rsehole.

We lost 3-2 in the end. Wasn't there so can't comment but the second half team was made up completely of trialists. Unsure on Rendell as he did an interview saying he was fit and looking forward to playing again.

Rendell has been given an extra week for fitness, seeing as we only started training on Wednesday. He should feature next week against Gosport.

Some interesting trialists last night...
James Kellerman (CM) - Wolves youth
Craig Ross (GK) - Whitehawk
Jean Prunescu (CB) Romanian, came through Steaua Bucuresti academy
Angelo Balanta (FW) QPR youth, MK, Bristol Rovers & Carlisle
Max Kretzschmar (CM) - Wycombe
Taylor McKenzie (CB) - Notts County, was on loan ay Wrexham?
Ben Harrison (LB) - AFC Wimbledon youth, broke leg in the match :(
Jake and Adam Francis (?) - sons of Gerry.
Jason Pope (MID) - Exeter City, WSM
Marlon Jackson (SHIT) - everywhere stealing a living.
Stephane Ngamvoulou (MID) - Hednesford, Whitehawk, Staines, Fboro & Boston
Guri Demuria (CB?) - Basingstoke, Hayes, had trial at Kiddy in Nov

That is a pretty decent line up, even if your opponents bring teams that are little more than youth, reserves and trialists it is an opportunity to get lots of people through the turnstiles. Hopefully you can turn some of those who really turn up to watch the away team into new supporters. Enjoy!

Don't know anything about Demuria unfortunately, but if he wasn't good enough for us last November...
We have apparently had Kellerman on trial here as well recently (he's from Kidderminster originally). Apparently he's a decent midfielder but has had a recurring tendonitis problem which has stalled his career.
