I am both sad and ashamed to report that 1090 people turned up to watch Rovers play against Newport, I had hoped that it would be far fewer...there was me thinking that the good people of the Stroud District would rather stay at home and watch Bake-Off!

We're at it again, another 3 goals scored. This year's motto is 'We're gonna score one more than you'.

Although Olomola went off injured, that's really worrying as he's probably the best striker in this league.

Mansfield send the 'keeper up for a corner and Green scores on the break. 3-1. Great competition, this ;)

3-1 get fucking in. Actually happy that Palmer and green scored oddly or not.

Please let's lose in the next game and were out. Fucked off the attendance was 2400 - that's 2400 too many

Lost 3-1 to Yeovil. Good news. Hopefully lose to whoever we have next in this competition and we can be out of it. Sounds as if one of our backup centre backs may have broken his leg, which could force us to look for a replacement before the transfer window shuts. Bad news.

Att: 1,509 with 159 from Yeovil. Too many.

Evans refused to shake hands with our management and coaching staff, what a child!

No doubt their 6000 bandwagon jumpers will enjoy seeing them play Chelsea or Man Utd's academy side in the league in a couple of seasons. After all, that's who they probably used to support a season ago.
Ooh, salty! :pmsl:

Lincoln and Mansfield you scabby bastards. Mind you, these new fangled Lincoln fans probably don't understand. What's with the fairly standard FGR attendance too?!

Just over 500 home fans at Grimsby, nearly 200 fans at some pub game between fans!
I read 862 in total with 319 away fans? Not a bad effort, no doubt the Mansfield stub fiasco bumped up the numbers a tiny bit.
Edit: Just realised the 200 you mean is the Internet Mariners match, isn't it?

Yeah so just over 500 home fans...

Apparently there was 500 plus watching the stream of the fans game too.

I don't get why so many turned up. Makes no sense. Evans cared about the game he made 9 subs.

Ridiculously cheap tickets, kids got in free, still school holidays plus Newport brought nearly 300. Given we're averaging 2800 in the league it's still a big drop though.

Disappointing to have taken so many to Mansfield but I'm not at all surprised. From what I gather most of the "diehards" didn't go, it was those who have latched onto us in the last year or so. Their prerogative I guess, but I can only assume they're blissfully unaware of this competition, the boycott and all the controversy that surrounds it. We're still, to an extent, riding the crest of a wave from last season and crowds like this are inevitable, unfortunately.

Oh well, at least we managed to piss off Steve Evans.

1662 at Crawley. About 700 from Chalton.

I think there a few Charlton fans around Crawley as you used to see special offer deals regarding coaches and entry for Charlton games in the town pubs...well. until I saw them and pulled them down.

I can understand Lincoln fans turning up, most of them are bandwagon jumpers that they don't know the first thing about football nevermind this comp, give them a season to calm down and just the true fans left means they will join the rest of us in not showing up.

Haven't got a clue what Mansfields excuse is though.

We're massive.

Seriously, that's fucking terrible, mind 1500 turned up for the game against Donny last season

I agree with some of that, we haven't lost a home game in nearly a year in any competition so some Imps fans won't have seen a defeat yet. Am sure it will calm down and be back to normal sooner or later.

Who wins the 'best' home attendance? by the same token
Who wins the 'best' away figure?

(Not Mansfield and Lincoln obvs)

696 at Barnet, apparently. No clue as to the home/away breakdown. Pleased to win and I want us to progress. I won't be at any matches though.

1549 at Priestfield including 135 from Southend. Didn't realise there that many people desperate enough to watch us win.

The lure of Premier League football, such as it was. Gillingham (and other Kent sides) weren't too fond of us for doing that either. Bit more understandable over there mind you since there's already a healthy number of Charlton living in the area.

I think it was quite admirable that long standing fans such as myself stood aside and allowed the BWA (Band Wagon Army) a chance to attend Field Mill, a stadium we've done many times before. There was a boycott from a section of the support and there wasn't actually much talk across the forums of anyone actually going - certainly not in those numbers.

We made 1 less change than we could have done (Vickers for Farman) but 7 would have been all we'd be able to manage because I think we're at 19 squad wise (Ginnelly injured and Howe out on loan).

I'm not sure whether this is a wind up, but the radio were saying Cowley was sent from the stands for wagging his water bottle too aggressively as Evans approached our technical area in his usual angry manner.
