Just had a look at our website and based on tickets sold already would predict a crowd of maybe 400-500. I was thinking of printing a note, about why the competition is potentially disastrous for many of the teams in our division, then leaving it on every seat that sold this evening when I go to our next proper home game.

Our crowd will be very low tonight I think.
As defending champions, I hope we put up a decent fight but unfortunately get knocked out of this group stage

Like most, won't be bothered much about the game against the Stags tonight. Only hope is that whatever side we pick, we don't get any injuries. Supposedly up to 500 Imps travelling but would be surprised if half that bother to make the short journey.

Well I got that estimate well and truly wrong, seems that Lincs police have tweeted we have sold 833 tickets for tonight already and can still pay on the gate? I am surprised at the popularity, even though things numbers wise have gone a bit crazy lately.

We had 92 away at Doncaster last year in this competition so will probably have about the same at Oldham tonight. We had just under 1200 against derby under 21s at home at just scraped over a 1000 at home to Mansfield last season. Also last season we were the only team not to qualify with 5 points and other teams in other groups qualified with 4 points.

Be a few more at Oldham as more closer but not by much. Got to be honest I couldn't give a toss tonight.

Isn't Turner playing upfront? Why keep playing centre backs at full back? Davis was right back Saturday and gunning played left back every game he has played for us.

Potential superstar playing for Sunderlands B team tonight. Jack Rodwell, Remember the name.
Has he managed to win a game with Sunderland whilst being named in their starting XI yet?

Stoke also named a promising young English talent in Charlie Adam in their starting XI. Great to see.

Just under 800 tickets sold for the Lincoln end tonight. Probably won't be far off having more than us.

I came to look at the score, I thought briefly about listening to it then decided to mow the lawn instead.

1,351 at Crewe v Newcastle United, 135 in the away end. Shocking, no words to even try to defend that.

In Lincoln's defence they weren't in this shite competition last year so maybe their fans are not fully understanding of the boycott.

The Cowley effect is also still in full swing. Plus this is their first even remotely local away game, given their first 2 trips have been to Wycombe and Exeter. Not surprised this short trip is drawing their fans.

Looks like Cowley had got overly excitable about being at Mansfield and got himself sent off

Curzon Ashton....and Carlisle
gates coming in are very good and think tonight is a win for the boycott after that worry from the ridiculous Plymouth crowd.

end of day gates of 1,500 or below when mass ticket offers are given and draws fixed to give local games just in order to attempt to break the boycott are really really good gates for the boycott.
