2018/19 League Table Predictions

I do notice a trend here and I have done the same and I did it last season.
Grouping almost all of the, Yeovil aside, Conference/NL teams together in he bottom half.

No league table from me but I’ve gone early £10 on the Long Ball Imps @ 12/1 for the title

I’ve followed this bet with £5 e/w on Port Vale 33s, and considering Grimboland at 40s!

I can also officially ‘write off’ Yeovil, they won’t get promoted in the 2018/19 season.

Someone on here said it couldn’t be done, I’ve just done it!

So is Lincoln’s squad actually good then? Surely a team with Matt Rhead and Matt Green can’t be title contenders?

I’ve always rated Matt Green, mainly cos he always seems to score against Notts.

Rhead I’ve never really rated, I get what he is and to a point he’s effective but he’s limited and slightly unpleasant which ain’t a great combo. I wouldn’t want to ever see his name on a Notts County teamsheet at a game I was attending.

Although I could only name a few others in their starting line up last season, they are clearly decent for this level as they were Top 10 for the vast majority of the season and ended up in the playoffs. Says it all really

Rhead is a very good target man for this level, you basically get a strong front man. Lincoln basically play through him, he peels off a full back and heads it towards Green or a midfielder. It instantly gets you playing in the final third and fair play. The average goal is scored after only 4 passes

Bizarrely I think we could have a stab at where we finish this new season, just down to the fact we got most of the players we want signed up, maybe a full back or 2 may be added.

For ourselves I would say 10th. I think a more consistent season is on the cards, but we may draw more this time which may stop a push into the play offs. Hope I am wrong and it's higher.
