We didn't really turn up today against physical and play-acting Leamington and were lucky to get the 3-3 as they also missed a penalty (which was very cheap). We desperately need our injured trio of Livesey, Stopforth and Kevin Roberts back. Our GK is causing concern too as all 3 goals appeared to be mistakes.

Yeah we were poor today and a bit lucky to get a point. To be honest all three games this past week we've been a hell of a long way off our usual standards.

Griffiths is a definite concern, he cost us at Spennymoor and should have cost us at Kiddy but got away with it.

Well good to get through a tricky spell with a lot of big players missing,McNulty and McGuire back in training and Green came on today for last 20mins.Only Griffiths out for a bit longer.
Kings Lynn today were best team seen this season, just no end result.

No, we're struggling with injuries at the moment. We need Gary Stopforth back. Having aid that I think Leamington punch above their weight in this league every season.

We have reverted back to evening training from daytime training (how many evenings a week I don't know), and have moved out of our training ground (we were renting Skelmersdale's old ground). It seems like the madness of us being full-time is coming to an end, but it strikes be as being a bit desperate financially to be doing it 2 months into the season.

I wouldn't be too concerned about injuries you've easily swept aside King's Lynn without breaking sweat. I would imagine it will be up to Chester/Brackley Town to try and mount a challenge. I'm not sure who else will be up to the task?

Oh good! I quite fancy our chances this weekend. Most definitely he is a huge loss you'll need him back for when York visit.
Yeah they can produce some encouraging displays now and again Leamington. Very eccentric that keeper everytime I've seen him.

Tony Breedon left because he headbutted a player a week before the season started.

That keeper was forced to leave after he punched one of his team mates in training.

Although it seems the guy he punches was Edward's who stuck an elbow into Gary Brown couple or seasons ago. So as far as I'm concern still seems a decent bloke.

Shocked to hear that. Very eccentric which masks his ability to pull off great saves and galvanise the team. Will he find another club

We beat Guiseley 3-1 on Saturday, Martin getting sent off helped but in truth we started to boss the game before he went for a straight red. Should have won by more goals but a good 3 points and a very decent display. With Robert due back hopefully this weekend and Myrie-Williams, Spencer Hamilton and Marlon Jackson all now back and pretty much fit it'll be the first time this season we've hopefully got our best 11 available.

That BPA score at Brackley was a shocker. Meanwhile first 3 points for Lee Clark and Blyth, could they start a turn up in form?

Completely dependent on how long they can keep hold of Callum Robert's. Apparently Rotherham have offered him a trial. Take him out of the equation and they're back to where they were. Will be interesting to see how much of the cheque book Bower gets to use now he's back at BPA. Will be tough doing a mid season rebuild.

Strange game football. On Saturday we were lucky to come away with a point against Leamington. When we played Hereford we shredded them.

Another good win moving us into the play off places without playing that great recently (second half last night we controlled the game though). If we can get the performances to improve, I’d be confident we will be in the play off shake up come end of season. Slade has made us look a lot more solid and sturdy, we could do with finding a system where our strikers are in the game, as they are in and out of the side and can’t find any consistency. Pleased to see we are improving and moving up the table now

I don't remember the EFL expelling any non-league teams.

I don't remember the EFL expelling any non-league teams.

I do remember Altrincham getting a huge points deduction for fielding an ineligible player in 2006ish. As they were in the National League at the time it had nothing to do with the EFL but I do remember there being some controversy over the fact that a board member from one of their relegation rivals (I think Forest Green) was also on the Conference board that made that decision.

As it turned out they escaped relegation anyway due to Scarborough's financial difficulties.
