We had the same the Fylde manager came along to witness the pitch inspection at midday this never used to happen do they think that we and the Referee are colluding to get the game called off, I find this very bizarre.

I know. I agree. One look at the weather and you can see why games were called off. I think the season will be knocked on the head soon, is that gonna be the case you reckon?

Yes agree and has Parmenter resigned from the management committee. If so the whole bunch should.

Looks like but I can’t understand why it’s taking some clubs so long to say which way they are going to vote, it’s not like a rescue package is going to appear at the last minute.

I can't speak for the weather. But up to now we have not refused to play any games, we have not (so far) put our name to any of the statements which say we will not fulfill fixtures. So if it makes it past the weather my thought is that it will be on, as we'll be playing up to the result of the vote (if it is null and void).

What's the weather like up in Darlo? My expectation is that it will be off and I wouldn't hold it against Darlo if they even used a small a small amount of snow as a reason not to travel.

No more snow just the freezing temperatures.

Think it will be all down to the weather overnight, and just how cold it gets. Cant imagine Kiddy wanting to burden themselves with our travelling costs just for the game to be called off. So you start working backward for a reasonable inspection time. If the team would normally arrive around 1:30pm for the game, working back from that with travelling time for the coach of say 4 hours it would have to be a 9:30am pitch inspection. Doesnt give much chance for any thaw for the pitch if patches are frozen under the covers.

And as I typed it. Postponed due to a frozen pitch.

Best not to watch Premier League football it's emotional anguish. I don't have the desire to watch it and never will.

We'll be okay for Tuesday night against Boston Utd with sunny intervals and unusual high temperatures for this time of the year.
All we need to do now is to show The Pilgrims how good we are and produce our recent cup performances into league results!

It is unfortunate that this season was doomed from the beginning with the winter postponements and a pandemic that in actual fact has never had a lid put on it, also the grant money ran out in January.

Not really.

Situations & circumstances change all the time.

Right call by us. Read the statement and you’ll find out why.

I’m very much on the, ‘we shouldn’t be playing the FA Trophy tie fence’ either, before that is used.
I 100% agree with the statement it's very well put, but nothing has changed really in the last few days. You don't want to play on, it's fine and understandable just the other lad was claiming otherwise for some reason.

If you dont want to play league games you shouldn't play in the Trophy either though as that's just taking the piss a bit.

To be fair, I too have claimed we wanted to fulfil our fixtures and wait for the decision to be made for us (N&V). We were all set to travel to Kidderminster on Saturday.

I think, with no progress made over the last 3 days, we’ve just thought ‘enough is enough’.

You are correct regarding the FA Trophy and I hope that we withdraw, unless Step 2 is made N&V in the meantime.

Our match tomorrow at Curzon Ashton has been cancelled following a mutual agreement between both teams. It looks like we won't be playing again until this mess is sorted out.

Our match tonight is off. Not getting my hopes up now and fully don't blame the clubs for pulling out. Wish the season would just be officially over so we can just restart next season

Our Chairman put this out on Twitter today and he is right some teams Are treating this vote as some sort of twisted game while others are having to break league rules just to stay afloat, just come out and say which way your voting so we all know what’s going to happen.

Completely agree. Even more frustrating now as there seems to be a majority verdict in the NLN and NLS divisions. So the 8 votes are cast from the regional division as 4 for resolution 1 (NLN) and 4 against (NLS). We can only be waiting for NL teams to submit their votes to reach the required 75% for special resolution 1.

League should have been suspended for the same 28 days as the voting period, farcical that it wasn't.

So 8 years 8 months late we finally play at home in a meaning less game,
What could go wrong, half expecting a sinkhole to appear in the middle of the pitch during the game and carry game on at Huntington sports field with jumpers down for goals. That would probably be ok and on par with the way the league is run.
Least I get chance to watch the team I support, you just know government will let fans in next month and this league will be void.

Makes a hell of a difference when two clubs come to an agreement, unlike a Boston knobhead on their forum stating we couldn't be bothered to play. And quoted the National League really should start kicking these clubs out and hitting them with hefty fines.

very comfortable victory to be honest. I thought York would have better to be fair

Sam Austin might as well just sign a lifetime contract with us. He's just extended his current deal until 2023 after signing here in our first season in the North back in 2016. He's well on his way to becoming a club legend.
