If ST holders wish to free up their seat for a POTD fan, this also could be a possibility.

I still dont get this. What if there are further restrictions? The club would then have to pay refunds. And those who dont feel safe at the moment but might after Christmas, say, will be disadvantaged.

I guess they're banking on it being unlikely that we'll sell out even at reduced capacity. A third of our capacity would be 6,000 and our average attendance last season wasn't much over 4,000 so presumably there will be tickets still available for anyone who decides later on in the season they want to attend.

I'm pretty sure there's a whole range of approaches other clubs have taken to this, and most aren't charging full whack with ifollow access included.

Because that’s a rip off.

The value of a ST per game is more than the £10 it would cost for an ifollow match pass. Not to mention the people who live in households where there are 2, 3 or even 4 season ticket holders - giving them all a free ifollow pass each is pretty useless when they’d usually just share 1.

Mind you, there is a counter to that argument...if for example you have one person with a season ticket, who occasionally goes to games with friends and neighbours, what is to stop them inviting people round to watch a game or two (within social distancing rules)?

Nothing stopping them, but that can also be done if it’s not included with your season ticket and you pay a tenner. Only when it’s included with your ST it’s likely to work out more than a tenner.

But most people (me included) feel that its the best solution in the current climate. It keeps the club going with income and allows people to budget.
Our ST numbers are up, but fortunately are still below our likely maximum capacity when it restarts.
