Personally felt a draw was pretty fair as no quality at all in the game from either side and we didnt exactly hammer the door down when we finally got on an even keel.

But I think its more than a fair view point to be a slightly disappointed when you see the 2 goals we conceded. Bradley gives them one and then Sluga really has to save the second, really poor bit of keeping that he will be disappointed.

Outside of those 2 very poor errors and despite having a total head start on us by having control of the midfield for an entire half because of a tactical error (which you can totally not blame NJ for making given how well we played on Saturday), they didnt really have any chances of note from their own play - then again neither did we so i think a point apiece is spot on.

Sounds like the postman we have in charge will be persevering with this back five no matter what, unbelievable.

Direct, proven players like Scott Sinclair and Josh Murphy sat on the bench and he has no idea how to accommodate them.

A combination of Riis, DJ, Sinclair, Murphy & Barkhuizen up top would be a force under any competent manager.

We might be without Gyokeres tonight as he picked up an ankle injury in the challenge that definitely wasn't a penalty on Saturday. All very hush hush from the club but his ankle was very swollen on Saturday evening. Other than that I think we'll bring in Maatsen for Kane, and may potentially rest Kelly as I'm not sure how capable he is of playing 3 in a week.

Saw your manager saying in the pre-match he’d go 5 at the back because we always win against 4 at the back apparently

Knew we’d lose tonight, fucking hate Deepdale. Utterly pathetic from us in the second half. Less goals but as equally bad a performance as the one in the first half vs Luton.

As disgusting as ever in the first half.

You're not telling me a good half time booing doesn't have any impact.

Second half, we pushed up, pressed, found feet, won every second ball and did the basics. Coventry went to shit as soon as we had a go. No idea why this team can only play when they're in a losing position, fucking infuriating.

Its early and a statistician would say that it is always this way, but there's only 3 points between ourselves in 9th and 18th place! Super tight this season. Apart from the top 3, the rest of the division apart from maybe the bottom 4 (Derby aside) appear quite even and much of a muchness.

Places 4th to 6th are very much up for grabs.

I feel sick about tomorrow, we just cannot lose.

I'd probably just bring in Maguire, or Barkhuizen up front in place of Sinclair, unchanged other than that.

Don't care how we win, or how we play, just do it.

Praying Riis is available, he rolled his ankle a bit, he's up there with the best strikers in the league this season in terms of shots per goal, if only we created more for him. The guy is a class act, his goal on Wednesday showed what he's all about.

Hull at home for us tomorrow. They are really struggling and shouts for McCann to be gone. Lost a tough one to Peterborough at home midweek Wednesday which would be a tough one to swallow given both are newly promoted and those points could be massive come season end.

Not big goal scorers with only 9 all season, 4 of which coming opening day!

I dont see how we can go without making some changes for tomorrow. Be very surprised if Onyendinma doesnt come into feature and with Naismith suspended i could see us going to a back 4 to accommodate him playing. Means Cornick might get deployed wider with Adebayo through the middle although both have played a lot this week and cover huge distances in a game wouldnt necessarily surprise me if one of those are rested, perhaps Cornick for Clark/Muskwe.

Points wise been a good week with 4 from 2 away games, so would be slightly disappointed to not back that up with a home win against a side not in form but you never know with this league. Could see some George Moncur magic certainly - hes that sort of player who loves an occasion like this.

Harry Cornick and a lot of other players looked absolutely knackered on Tuesday night. Luckily there’s a week off up to Preston next weekend. Byproduct of the way we played at Millwall.

2 changes for us, Berry coming in for Pelly and as expected Onyedinma in as well for Naismith whose suspended. So looks like a back 4 and Rea, Berry, Clark in midfield and front 3 of Onyedinma, Adebayo, Cornick. That being the case I’m expecting the full on high press to full effect, with Berry and Clark being very involved in that.

No surprise to hear Mick McCarthy has been sacked.

Cardiff been on a very poor run.

1-0 win in not quite convincing fashion. Felt like we stopped playing after we scored, only real quality moment in the game with the cross and header from Adebayo. Had flashes after that but not much more. For much of that second half it felt like a matter time for an equaliser so we did well to see it out.

Rea and Bradley outstanding today I felt, especially the former who since coming back in has looked likes the Rea of the first championship season.

Worry that Adebayo had to be subbed at half time. Been worried about him getting injured for a while as he plays every game and covers huge ground. Integral player for us now so I hope nothing serious.

Goodness me... its never boring being a Luton fan.

What a great victory... and 5th in the league table. I am definitely way too overboard at the moment. Talk of Premier League on the walk back... just a tad premature.

Sonny Bradley on current form must be amongst the best defenders in the division right now. He is heading EVERYTHING away at the moment, with the small and only mistake all season he's made v Derby on Tuesday. Those goals on Tuesday the only goals he's conceded all season in 495 minutes so far. And having Naismith (not today admittedly) and Lockyer alongside him definitely helps too of course.

Today wasn't pretty - it was quite agricultural and the air miles on the ball probably would rival a 747. It was amongst the ugliest games in recent years, but you have to win ugly in this division. A lot of things, especially after Berry went off injuried didn't go right at all. Our ball retention was hopeless and Jerome had a real stinker when he came on at HT to replace the injured Adebayo who is now on 7 goals already. But with the amount of workload that has gone into this week, my goodness the 7 points are invaluable.

As for Hull - they remind me of us this time in 2019. It clearly is a huge step up and you can't bemoan the lack of effort. They look like a team fighting for their lives already. Wilks however has totally ineffective, Magennis spent more time on the floor than on his feet and when Moncur and Eaves came on they were totally anonymous.

McAvoy or McCann next to go then you think? Not a good day for “Mc” managers all around with McCarthy finally getting the elbow

I had Forest/Fulham down as a draw.

Opps..

Fulham flexing their muscles which they haven't done too much away from home.

Rivalry aside you looked absolutely devoid of ideas yesterday . I can understand why you want to get rid of your current manager. He comes across as a nice guy but the job is obviously beyond him.

Blackpool did not play that well yesterday, we seemed to be in first gear but it was as comfortable as you would like for such a big game . Your early chance the second had could have changed the game but the finish was spectacularly shit. We scored from our two chances so at least we are clinical .

I loved every second and may the rivalry be a common occurrence because nothing else comes close to it. How is your head?

Preston played well first half and should have scored but Liverpool were very clinical.

Some embarrassing finishing from Maguire & Potts. Barkhuizen should have taken an extra touch and worked the keeper too.

Gutless shite in the second half.

I don't see any scenario where Luton don't get an easy 3pts.

They're a high pressing, motivated outfit, with a manager who actually has a CV.

We have a bunch of wankers who couldn't give a shit and are managed by a postman.

It was more enjoyable under Graham Westley, think our crowds were better under him as well, in League One.

Awful time to support this club, at least we have Peter Ridsdale running things, eh.

Adebayo out today which is a big big miss IMO. He has become so important to us and you can see him developing into a top striker before your eyes pretty much. Jerome was genuinely awful against Hull so hopefully he can put in a performance here.

Really needs to lead our press and make the ball stick in possession otherwise we have a tendency to look a bit hit and hope and get hemmed in.
