This league is definitely as dire as I've ever seen it. Been here for 17 of the last 21 years. Fulham, Bournemouth & West Brom are no great shakes.

Anyone can win these playoffs.

Blackburn away on Saturday, expecting probably our lowest following there since the 80s, sub 4,000.

Bit of a joke that they can charge us £30 and home fans £15.

Barkhuizen might be available after being crunched by that shithouse Anthonee Robinson, was in a precautionary brace but think it might have just been bad bruising. Either way, he's nothing more than solid as a wing back, I'd like to see Olosunde make his debut now he's available.

Hughes took a whack late on against Fulham too, hopefully hes fit, very under-rated player for us.
Lindsay had a really good game on Saturday but if he's fit Bauer 100% comes back in.

An away draw would be welcome but Blackburn obviously have a lot of goals in them, it's rare we string together 2 good performances so the odds are massively in their favour.

Hoping to see Evans start after 2 in 2 off the bench, we've missed the guy.

VDB - Bauer - Hughes
Olosunde - McCann - Whiteman - Earl
Browne
Riis - Evans

Away to Blackpool for us at the weekend. Important game for us, more for what follows really as our next game is Fulham which I honestly can’t see us getting anything from, and then reading away which is a bit of a bogey team for us. Could be getting in to troublesome territory soon.

We’ve not been in good form at all and although Cardiff was the first game in this run which I thought was genuinely a bit alarming how poor we were, the what I’ve momentum is unquestionably building.

Jones was pretty scathing after the Cardiff game, including of himself saying he got his selection wrong. I couldn’t quite work out what he meant by that as on paper the team looked fine to me and nothing much out of the ordinary - I assume he meant mix of the midfield so probably see Rea drop out and Lansbury or Campbell come back. Big call on Pelly, I like him but he is in poor form right now, although none of the other midfield players are of type as him when he is playing well. That whole area of the pitch and the balance of it has been a real problem for us this season generally and Berry is a miss in that respect.

Bree had a real shocker I felt on Saturday but unfortunately we loaned out other right back out so he has to keep playing and hope he gets through it. Must be taken off set piece duty surely though?!

Really well worked goal too, must have been a routine they have been working on the basis of how Fulham set up from kick offs. Very clever.

Fulham got a point in the end - probably the least they deserved.

Yep they missed some great chances. Some impressive last ditch defending from Bournemouth too it must be said though. Tough to look past those 2 for 2 of the 3 promotion spots

They're both streets ahead. Auto spots lose to locked up. WBA doing a Bournemouth of last season..... Blowing it. At least the golden shower will be back next season.

Maybe ..

;)

West Brom don’t seem to have the same goal threat as the others so will drop points .

No Sluga Lockyer or Cornick in squad. Intrigued to see what CMG has

Already see why CMG hasnt featured much. Poor touch and movement and out muscled all the time. Easily dominated.

Rode out luck but prob deserved the rub of the green in the first half, then completed the classic clinical away performance in terrible conditions.

Awful second half from McAvoy's team.

Not sure either side deserved 3pts but it was turd from that bag of shit, Storey to allow the cross to come in. Good header but too easy.

Should have 100% had a penalty for the Nyambe handball.

Great result in some tricky conditions. Much needed given recent form and to score 3 after a bit of a drought of late is great to see. Actually clinical with our chances today rather than wasteful

Agree. Clark looks clinical and cool. He has such versatility but is a danger in the box and we need to utilise that more

Clark is a fantastic player, can play pretty much anywhere and do it well. Think he’s played right, left back, right wing, left wing, central midfield, number 10 and does it all really well. As you say got that cool head to pick a pass in the final third, which some of our other midfield players often don’t have. Picked out a superb cross for the second which gave us comfort in the game - missed that sort of quality delivery lately, where he’s been on the bench or coming on. Really very good for a free transfer!

Think someone like mendes Gomes could learn a lot from him because he’s not the biggest but never seems to struggle with being knocked off the ball or losing physical battles because of the positions he picks up.

Barnsley at home.

Not an ideal situation for Lowe to kick things off as it sounds like; VDB, Hughes, Olosunde, Evans & Barkhuizen could all be missing, Murphy still not back yet either. It was a fucking stupid decision to bring back Olosunde for his first game on that pitch at Blackburn, it was a bog and now he's probably fucked for even longer.

If all those guys are missing and Lowe wants to stick to the 3-1-4-2 he played at Plymouth then we'll probably have to go with something like this.

Iversen
Storey, Bauer, Cunningham
Whiteman
Browne, McCann, Johnson, Earl
Riis, Maguire

Rudd, Lindsay, Huntington, Rafferty, Ledson, Potts, Sinclair

Fulham at home today. Viewing this as a bit of a free hit, seen them a few times on the box and they are clearly a level above the rest of the league- especially with Mitrovic playing who really should be playing at the top level somewhere.

Be delighted with a point from this.

Fulham with the silk we have the huff and puff. Competitive but they have gears to run through if we test rhem by scoring.

No excuse for the goal tho. Yet again free headers from a set piece - twice in quick succession.

Fulham left back looks absolute top notch. Control, vision, range of passing and his crosses. Wow

Deserved point. Think we maybe rode our luck at times but worked so so hard. They were clearly the better side, better players - no two ways about it but we made up for it with pure grit, determination and hard work. So pretty much all you can ask for as a fan. Naismith and Burke were outstanding I felt and really pleased for Bree. Not been in great form of late especially with his set pieces but the free kick for the goal was spot on. He’s just got an absolute tirade from some idiot who sits in front of me and few moments prior so was great to see him give that bloke the finger especially

He has been shite all too often tho. All the time in the world and his deliveries are soooo far off more often than not. Like half the pitch off, not just a few yards, he can put it over the Oak Road Stand or in the Maple instead of on the pen spot.

He gets in the position tho - all the time. Its a bit like Harry i think. Lack of mental composure as he prooves he can do it, with high quality. Thats not luck, or bad luck when it goes wrong. He needs to clear his head and be calm. They both need mental coaching from a pro.
