Bit disappointed we haven't had any false fixture lists this year, usually have a couple of people lying they've seen the fixtures by now.

Southern Draw teams a lot softer than the Northern ones, our half of the country seems to have stronger sides when compared one to one.
Yeah that northern section looks like a minefield compared to ours. Think West Brom are probably the only 'avoid' I'd be looking at whereas there's 6 or 7 in the Northern.

I went to Booths when up in the Lake District. That's a northern thing isn't it? (Booths, not the Lake District)
Got a feeling it might be based in Preston of all places, didn't know it didn't extend further south (though if they had a token one it would be somewhere like Nailsworth I'm sure).

Ones I know of are all in the Lake District.

Usually look for the token misplaced team, but the north-south divide seems fairly clear-cut on this occasion. Running smoothly across the middle of the midlands, with Shrewsbury being the most southern northern team and Walsall the most northerly southern team
Yip, I live 12 miles from both Shrewbury and Walsall (and Wolverhampton), right in the middle of the Midlands.

Colchester Away to start. Yay! Awful first trip that, hopefully we can keep our 16 year unbeaten run on the opening day going!

We play everyone at home and away throughout the season at various times and dates. Boring old fixture computer!

August is the pits, can't go to any games until Morecambe at home on the 31st.

Cambridge at home first and then Grimsby away!

What’s the ticket allocation like at Grimsby these days?

Crap that too!

Salford on Sky surprise surprise!

Why???

They are a non entity now at efl level, or are the coach potato ‘fan’base really that ridiculous.

Scunthorpe away first up is tough. Keep getting smashed there in recent times.

For some bizarre reason I'm fucking raging about The class of 92 play thing being on sky.
No idea why because it was so obvious.
Only shock is it isn't the Friday night game to kick start the season.
Wankers.

As for the fixtures as someone rightly said we'll all have our own crock of shite .
My own personal moan is both Bradford games are Tuesday night.
Plymouth away last game been moaned about by my fellow Vale fans, I think it's perfect.
Weekend away to celebrate our first season under new owners, no doubt a few sherbets to embrace our 15th position finish

If you don't know the answer to that question by now Dave, you never will.

As for us, away to Orient on what will no doubt be a very emotional day. I'd like to think we'll be more than respectful (notwithstanding a couple of numpties who will no doubt have had too much to drink).

Home to Plymouth on Boxing Day is fantastic for us, and home to Champions Elect Salford on the final day of the season.

We've played away at Plymouth on the last day a couple of times - can't beat a weekend in Devon to end the season.

Quite happy with our opening day fixture home to Crawley. We might actually win. We've a pretty poor record on the opening day but then we usually get a team you'd expect to beat us like a newly promoted or relegated one, and recently we've been away far more often than at home. A quick return for Ashley Nadesan.

Cheltenham away on a Tuesday, standard. Forest Green and Northampton also travel to us in Tuesday nights before Christmas.

We face Salford in August. I always think its good to get the games against these sort of teams out of the way early (but not the opening day) before they gel and hit their stride.

Home to Bradford on boxing day could be a belter... For them at least. They're one of the sides who could open the waterworks end, if they're doing well then a few thousand of them might fancy a trip over the fells.

Second half of the season we host Cheltenham then travel to fgr and Northampton on Tuesday nights. I think I've seen us play team home and away on Tuesdays before but don't thing I've ever seen us play the same teams away that we also hosted.

Away to Salford on good Friday, which is the fourth to last game of the season because of the early finish. Fully expect that to be in telly.

Then we end up home again, to Stevenage on the final day.

Salford on the TV? That'll no doubt impact the crowd on their opening day which is a huge blow for them. We all know that gate receipts is what makes them tick.
Not to mention the thousands of stevenage fans who now won't bother travelling

Swindon away on Boxing day. Nice local fixture that.

Pretty tough start for us as well.

Plymouth at home to start is tough but probably a good time to play them under a new regime. We've got a pretty tough start especially at home. Plymouth, Walsall and Bradford our 1st 3 home games.

Gutted Orient away is a Tuesday it was the game I was looking forward to the most. Macc away in December isn't great either. On the plus side Salford away on boxing Day should be good, Oldham 1st away game when it should be warm there for once also a plus. Cambridge away last game also seems a decent fixture.
