As you say we are hamstrung by the fact our draft position is not going to be high enough to get any blue-chipper out of college so maybe go for a temporary one for a year. Wouldn't be against Phil Rivers for a year or even Cam if he's healthy (though in his case I think we'd have to significantly change up our scheme to accommodate him). Alternatively as you mentioned Teddy, I could be on board with that. The work he did in that Saints Offense while Brees was out was of the highest quality.
It is a strong year for QB's who can enter the draft granted the Pat's are not in a position for the top guys Burrow, Tua and Herbert but I think either Fromm or Eason could be really good options even if they need development.

I can see Tua dropping due to his injuries.

I make 7 teams needing to draft or sign a new QB for next season. Bengals, Chargers, Dolphins, maybe Broncos if they don't fancy Lock, Colts, Bucs and Panthers. When you have 4 legit first round QBs, plus some solid veterans hitting free agency, I can easily see Tua dropping towards the end of the first round. What odds he reaches the Pats and turns into the next Lamar Jackson?

Congrats to Kieran and Tom on making the Fantos final.

Cheers Craig that was a close one between us. Just happy I haven’t gone one and done for once after doing alright in the regular season. Was in danger of becoming the fantasy football Peyton Manning.

Huge game about to kick off Aberstone. Just gonna enjoy it here. Try to anyway.

Apologies for the late response Stagat, I did watch the majority of the first half so should have been on here too.

The entirety of the Bills defense is just nasty but that secondary in particular, woah! Micah Hyde has been flat out balling since joining a couple of years ago.

Interesting that they mentioned on commentary that John Brown has been used for the entire route tree given he was almost exclusively a deep threat in Arizona and Baltimore. There's a nice array of options for Josh Allen, he seems reasonably accurate in the pocket but needs to improve when on the run, that will come in time I'm sure.

As for the Steelers, Steven Nelson has been quietly one of the best FA pickups of the offseason, averaging around $5.5 million against the cap and in PFF's top 10 corners within the NFL this season, his name doesn't get mentioned because he's been a shutdown corner for a large portion of the season.

Terrell Edmunds needs to be jettisoned off this team though ASAP, it was a horrible pick back on draft night and it looks worse with each passing week.

I'll stick with Duck Hodges for now (talk in Pittsburgh media of Mason Rudolph coming back into the fold) but there's plenty to be excited about this team in 2020 with Stephon Tuitt and (hopefully a fully fit) Ben Roethlisberger back.

It's possible but I personally don't see him dropping out of the top 10 as he is my No2 QB on the board even if there is some questions on durabilty I think a team would take a punt on potential

I always feel our Secondary is underrated Tre White has as many interceptions as Gilmore also Poyer and Hyde I think you can argue as the best Safety duos the only issue I have with defence is it can be suspect against the run.

Glad to be back in the fantasy final after a year's absence, thought I was done for after Lamar Jackson got 37 points on Thursday but the inability of "Randy Bollock" to take out two injured players saved me in the end, though I'd have been pretty pissed to go out with 114 points.

Woke up an hour early to watch the second half of Bills Pats before work.

Currently 17-13. My kids could have a teacher in a very good mood today if this goes our way.

Game is on a knife-edge going into the fourth quarter.

Win or lose this is the best we have played since the win over the Steelers in week 1.

Absolutely terrific game. Feels like there is finally a genuine competitive rivalry in the AFCE again at last. That was the most fired up a Foxborough crowd was for a divisional game probably since the Jets playoff game. Think we just were able to call on the experience of winning these big games more so than the Bills and that was the difference.

Commiserations Stagat and pride_of_notts I think the Bills day is coming very soon though.

Bollocks. Congrats Kieran. From what I've read throughout the season your D alone is probably worthy of winning the division. TBF that's what's done it, ain't it?

To think that we lost to you and Baltimore only on 4th down stops in the closing stages, we've run some very good teams very close even when we do lose. Ruing the losses to the Browns and Eagles now, on paper. But then we've had some close wins against worse teams too, like only by one score against the Colts I think. So it's all evened out. A very good season overall.

Maybe get to rerun this one in the playoffs anyway.

Yeah a lot of positives for us I feel we took absolutely to the wire Allen I feel had a general improved performance But offensively I feel we are a couple of Pieces away I definately think we need that No1 big Receiver and a Power back but I think they are most likely to be addressed in the draft.

Also I would not be suprised to see us bench all our starters for Week 17 no reason to risk them against the Jets when we have secured the 5th seed and can't improve on it.

Allen was impressive yesterday, avoided any turnovers which is no mean feat against the Pats D. If he can find a way to be more accurate throwing the ball (missed an easy one to Knox I think it was in the red zone on a corner route in the fourth quarter) then that will take him a long way.

Looks like the Ravens for the #1 seed in the AFC. Got to hand it to Lamar and Harbaugh, been by far the best in our conference. From a purely selfish perspective could do with the Bears beating KC coming up to give us the option to rest up whats left of Julian Edelman for the Dolphins game. Not that I think that's going to happen though.

Mayfields regression this season has been a sad sight to see. All that talent on the team on both sides of the ball I will be amazed if Kitchens is not one and done there as a coach.

The deep ball has been an issue all year for Allen definately something to improve on in the Off season especially given how big of an arm Allen has could be major going forward saying that I have been impressed with how much Allen has improved his short yard passing this year.

Looks like we have the Bengals on the clock now as they have sealed the no1 pick

Given they had a huge lead in the game at one point the Dolphins did everything within their power short of giving up an intentional safety in overtime to try and gift that to the Bengals.

Huge upset with the Cards beating the Seahawks. Should make for an excellent finale with the Niners next week with the division and #1 seed in play.

Think the Cowboys have to move on from Garrett after this season. I know that it's not strictly him running the team but to be 7-8 with that talent they have is abysmal. Would go so far as to say a couple of their players looked like they quit as well today I'm afraid to say.

Yeah I reckon so his neck does seem on the line to be honest I am more interested to see if teams cut there losses on 1st year coaches Gase and Kitchens I can see both going Black Monday will be interesting to see which teams move on.

Barely scraped home in the Fantasy Super Bowl but finally my team doesn’t collapse at the season end. Thought it was going to be a lot more comfortable than it was going into MNF but the Vikes Offense seemingly had a shit the bed performance. Maybe just shows how reliant on Cook they are.

Bad luck Tom_CUFC by rights you probably had the best team all year at least in scoring.

Kitchens definitely has to go I reckon. That Browns team is an undisciplined mess and under him Baker has undoubtedly gone backwards. He strikes me as maybe a decent OC but definitely not a HC. He was the reason at the beginning of the year I never bought into the hype around them.

Gase I’m not sure if the Jets will or not. Personally I never rated him that much and think he’s lived off the back of working with Peyton in Denver and making Cutler look semi-competent in Chicago for a year. The Jets always strike me as the problems there being higher up in the organisation though.

One I’m interested in is the Jags and whether they stick with Marrone. Will cone down to whether they think Coughlin was the real problem or if they need a clean sweep there.

Screwed over by the Titans ruling Henry inactive on Sunday and not Saturday, that and Metcalf having a stinker. Score doesn't lie though and Kieran had the best record too, deserved and congrats!

Absolute shocker from the Vikings last night, knew at the half we'd blown it, 10 points after a 3 turnover half is unacceptable. Have to do it the hard way now from the 6 seed, suspect we'll be out at the first hurdle.

Fucking hell

Finally caught up with us how bad we’ve been this season. Phins have harmed their draft position slightly not that they’ll be too bothered today at least.

And as for that lateral at the end. The Miami Miracle it wasn’t.

Everyone knows the pattern with Fitz, lights it up at times like today in his first year, gets signed to a lucrative long term deal then....

Agree totally when he is on he is as good as any Elite QB but the problem has always been his floor is super low.
