We had no McCombe, Wood, Stanley or Rhead today. 4 of our starting XI with Caton only coming on as a sub.

Absolutely awful. How Tranmere weren't 6-0 up at half time I don't know. In the end should have been 8/9-0 Norwood is really bad at shooting as he should have had 6/7.

The kidderminster ultras have been kicking off. All 5 have been ejected. Comic stuff!

Don't take those as actual fans can't say I've ever seen them before and was embarrassed by them as I'm sure 99% of the other Harriers fans in the stadium would be.

Forest Green spent the second half time wasting and spoiling the game with lots of niggling fouls, plus several not given. The referee was hopeless. It was no surprise when Rodgers lost his cool and launched into a two footed tackle. But credit to the team for continuing to play to the very end.

I hope for Halifax sake they get their injured and suspended players back because although they battled until the end they couldn't cope with a team of nearly all 6 foot plus players. 1 goal each from Jordan Williams. Cook, Walker and Thomo. !st time we have won back to back games in the league all season.

First back-to-back wins of the season! If we could play like the last game and a half all the time, we'd piss this tinpot league...
Halifax were pretty awful though. Had one or two good chances but we didn't have to do a lot for a 4-1 win.
Our forwards all got a goal each, and two or three assists for Haworth - we can actually play football!

Most fans said lower mid-table before the season started and we could creep into the top half on this form (seven unbeaten, one defeat in 11 I think).

And so Grimsby are the latest victims of the SAS (Sampson and Styche) partnership. Finally a home result for Macc supporters to celebrate and fully deserved, although I'm sure this was an off day for Grimsby.
Some great wing play by Danny Rowe set up Jack Sampson for the first goal and then in true England style Shwan Jalal picks up an ankle injury and minutes later is picking the ball out of his net after Nolan's goal. We then revert back to being the hopeless long ball team that we have become in the last few weeks but this time it actually worked as Reece Styche picked up a ball over the defence and scored.
The ref was pretty poor for both teams and dished out bookings to almost our whole team, despite the fact that we weren't especially dirty. I don't know what would happen if he ever refereed Forest Green.

We've had a crazy month, get stuffed at Chester and Altrincham (who couldnt buy a win before they played us), then hold FGR to a comfortable 0-0 and beat Braintree. Also its weird but we were more attacking playing 4-2-3-1 than we were playing 4-4-2.

This was also only the 2nd time we have won after going behind this season, the other time we did was against Braintree in August.

From what I saw this afternoon and at their place in August I have absolutely no idea how they are in playoff contention!
