Clough must be well pissed off with his dad. Could've been the main man here on £15k+ per week, but tonight he's sat on the bench at The Mem for a club that can't even guarantee to pay his wages every week in League One.

Cracking tweet by a Bolton fan doing the rounds describing the shithole they're currently playing at.

May as well post it to save people looking for it

'There's one particular stand and it looks like something out of Chernobyl. Horrible third world stadium this. #bwfc'

Its utterly vile, just like the rest of their football club.

Would just like to say I think your fans are great in what they are doing in tribute for a villa fan who has just lost his battle with cancer. He was 23 and a massive villa fan but sadly lost his battle. Superb class from your lot, and I talk for all the villa fans who respect what your doing a lot. Good luck with the season.

Bristol rovers seem to have a lot of pikeys who follow them, well that's what I thought when we went their in the cup a few years back.

Quite evocative of that awful kit we sported in the auto windscreens final against Stoke. I think it's shit in its own right, but anything remotely resembling that sartorial abortion should never even be drawn on a fag packet with dirty old crayons, much less take corporeal form stretched and distorted across the bellies of middle aged men who should know better.

Been away for a bit and I've just seen Bolasie has gone to Everyone. Did City get a pay out for this?

Yeah, 15% I thought, but a lot of media outlets saying 20%. Anything between £4.5-6m. Hope you enjoyed your time away!

Well despite all that baiting about how they went to Chelsea at our expense and sent us to Scunthorpe.... we are the ones through to the next round, whilst they are out! :)

Northampton home next round please! I'm getting into this cup run malarkey.

Would rather avoid Chelsea now, could just see it being 'we scored 2 against them' trying to do some sort of comparison, would rather a different big team at Ashton Gate, Liverpool maybe, Klopp demonstrated tonight he will be taking the competition seriously.

Seems like our business in this transfer window will be complete after the signing of either Taylor Moore or Joel Ekstrand, possibly both. Very good work from Mark Ashton, Des Taylor, Steve Lansdown and Lee Johnson this window to bring in 8 (9 if we sign one of the two center backs mentioned above) championship quality signings, 6 permanent, plus two youth prospects. Looks like a good season ahead.
