2 year contract as well, doubt we'd have offered more than 1 if we'd wanted him around

Watching the U21's just to see what Gustav looks like. :eye:
Go on Tammy! :bravo:
I miss Tammy being a City player. He always made me happy with his smile ( not in a homosexual way, not that there is anything wrong with it..................I'll shut up now. )

Some guy on twitter who apparently works for Italian Sky Sports saying this Eros Pisano (top name) will be done in a few hours.

Isn't the thread on him just classic otib btw. 10 posts on the player followed by 3 pages discussing different slang terms for trainers, rounded off with a page of moaning about people discussing different slang terms for trainers. To think people have been waiting a whole month for something to happen

I might have had something to do with derailing that thread, whoops! :cool1:
It's the summer FFS and I thought it was quite funny TBH. Only on OTIB could an Italian signing morph into a discussion containing the phrase 'dap bag'! ;)

It just makes me laugh how it all snowballs. People arguing about whether the thread's being derailed and whether that's a bad thing, then when you think it's all settled down someone else comes along with a "I've read through 5 pages of this crap..." and it's like dear God, no, please, don't start it all again

Not to mention the shocking puns! If I want to know what's happening I'll come on here, otib's just for the entertainment

Really brave, honest interview with Steven Caulker:
https://www.theguardian.com/footbal...utm_source=m.facebook.com&utm_medium=referral

Explains why his career hasn't gone the way we all thought it must. Doesn't particularly reflect well on our club either. Mental illness really is horrific.

Seems he's on the way to getting his demons back under control and I hope for his sake he gets his career back on track, he's got the talent to be right at the very top. He was what, 18 when he was on loan here and far and away the best CB I've ever seen at AG.

See you've taken Luke Williams on as U23 coach. More like it for him. Never a manager.

Hope he does well.

He was always highly rated as a coach at your place wasn't he? Remember some of your lot saying how he took more of the credit than Cooper for your side that year we were fighting it out

Always been a youth coach, really. The manager job was really forced on him by Power - he didn't want it.

I've no doubt he'll do a good job for you.

Fair play Dan. I assume he's the replacement for Jamie Mac who has stepped up to first team assistant. If coaching youth is his forte, he will get a chance at our place as our academy is quite a large setup nowadays.

One for the older ones among us. Just heard some really sad news about Springer (Kev). I won't post it on here but PM me if you haven't heard / know who he is. :(

To give you a smile chaps, a staunch gas mate of mine was in Weston over the weekend and booked the seaside hotel on the front for a meal with his family. I've been there and the food is very good. Said mate was wearing a blue T shirt with BRFC emblazoned on it as he went in to the restaurant. All was well, he and his family were shown to their table at which point my mate realised it was almost silent in there. He then realised, there were 80 City lads in there from the reunion weekend and every one of them was smiling at him!
I asked him if the food was good as I knew he was left alone, all he said was 'I've no idea as I chewed it so bloody quickly'!
WHOOPS!
