I don't get this site.

How come there are over 99 pages on Brizzle in the Championship section .. ???

Yet nothin on Bigger clubs ??

Is this site based in the Brizzle area or do the site owners also have a Cider business ??

It needs investigating :flint:

As stated by others which you ignored, the thread started as a thread which City fans talked about and posted news of the redevelopment of the stadium which took 2/3 seasons, in which time a fair few posts are bound to rack up.

'Nothing for bigger clubs' - Firstly refer to the point above. But also when the forum started up Bristol City fans made up a large proportion of fans on the forum, we're probably talking 4/5 times the amount other clubs had (there were at least 40 of us at one point I think, compared to the 10 or so if you were lucky from other clubs). This led to numerous City fans giving their opinions on the same subject and other people understandably getting irritated that we would dominate threads, so when the stadium was finished this was converted to a thread for City fans to talk about City news.

Respects to that but your gates are below 10k most of the time so just wondering about this site .. only natural ... just seems disproportionate .....

Lack of knowledge of average attendance demonstrates lack of knowing what you're talking about.....

Your average attendance is what tho ?

I'm not sure ..

But this is 100 pages in this place lol lol

:hesk:

Persisting to ask about average attendances as if that has some direct correlation to the amount of fans from different clubs sign up to a particular forum...

:ffs:

Refer to the above points about why people may think you're deliberately being a wum

Looks like schools in Derby break up a week earlier than in Bristol.

Considering, on the old TFF it went back to when the Vale was proposed, it could well have been more than that. I can't remember TBH.
Fair enough, I wasn't on the old TFF long before that website stopped

No mate, not included tonight he's been let go.

Would be a good signing for your lot on a free, when I was told he was on trial I said "are you sure you've not got the wrong Bristol club?" as we've got a shitload of centre backs and you have very few.

I was wondering the same thing:lol:
I'd quite like him here really. Perhaps we might get a chance if he's got to be a bit more realistic for now.

Possibly mate, the other offers he had were all League One clubs but obviously he wanted to earn himself a deal here so was no harm in having a look.

He's supposed to be really highly rated, definitely worth offering a deal especially as it seems he lives locally.

Not up to Championship but will do okay in League 1, he has some flaws like lack of concentration at times but maybe a new manager will sort that out. He has a temper as well he even headbutted a Wycombe fan in Tesco last season for telling him he had a shit game after we lost at home :box:

Its definitely happening, rumour is around £2.8m which (if true) tbh is daylight robbery for a player who showed up around 1 in every 5 appearances. The fee and his wages can go towards a player who will actually fit our system rather than trying to fit a failing system around 1 player.

Yeah, i'll take that for him, obviously only reason he looked like he'd lost a lot of weight on that pre-season friendly was because he knew other clubs were interested in him. Shame he never got going last season.

Is it just me that thinks we are in deep shit next season, as things stand? :(

You definitely need this French striker to replicate Kodjia and Abraham's goalscoring exploits, a lot of pressure on him with that price tag.

Expect you to pull a few signings out of the bag before the end of the window though.

I totally agree with you on both points SF. My concern is that I wouldn't trust Johnson to spend a penny without cocking it up so have no faith in him to purchase the right players now. By all accounts (rumours), Tomlin isn't the first one out either.
When a club legend like Brian Tinnion comments on a twitter thread, about Tomlin leaving, that 'the club always comes first', it makes us wonder WTF has been going on behind closed doors TBH!

I don't tbh, Tomlin was unlikely to feature much, we've filled our starting RB position, seemingly brought in a good replacement for Abraham, hopefully he can get 15 plus, another striker would be nice but I'd back Djuric to get a few over the course of a season. Otherwise I'd back us to do well with the side we played 442 with. Maybe a new GK and LB but otherwise think we're okay, think we'll be mid-lower mid table.
