Judging by our forum and after reading theirs (yeuch), some gas head has stated that a disabled City fan was 'duffed up' at one of our games, nobody saw it though, the incident was allegedly reported to both BCFC and the Avon and Somerset police but, according to Julie H who is a serving police liaison officer, no such complaint was received by either the club nor the Avon and Somerset police.
By all accounts, said City fan is so affected by this that he now can't leave his flat and has signed up for a season ticket at the gas.
Around 20,000 people didn't see the event and the police have said it's not true.
People wonder why we dislike that horrible little club?
I smell more gas bullshit methinks!

Definite bullshit mate. A Gas season ticket seems a waste of money if you can't even leave your flat.

Do you mean in terms of the team itself? I'm not too concerned, but we definitely need our defenders to do better than last year. Wright needs to have a much,much better year, Pisano needs to actually be somewhat competent when the ball comes anywhere near him unlike Matthews was, Bryan just shouldn't be being played left-back and we need to keep Flinty. Despite the potential grey area, I reckon we do have a mid-table side, providing we get the goals from somewhere. But we don't do finishing mid-table do we...

A mid table side? Fantasic..........this league is going become nigh on impossible to get out of in the next few seasons with the money going round. We should be looking to get out of it as soon as possible, not be happy with a mid table team.

I hope you're right Josh but think, currently, we're weaker than we were last season and I don't trust LJ to sort it out.
I'm genuinely concerned for us at the moment and can see another season of struggle.

We say it every year that the league will get harder, yet Huddersfield have just been promoted and other teams who were around us the season before finished in the play offs, I'd rather see us sustain a place in the league rather than risk it all and try to get up.

With the new TV deal it will, whether it was said before or not. I can't see the aim being mid table anyway. Not after spending what we have on one player. Well I hope it isn't anyway. That said with Johnson in charge probably the best we'll be able to do.

It's so we don't take over other threads Lee. There are quite a few of us on here to be fair. You've got your east midlands thread, we've got this one. It's not our fault that our local neighbours are so shit they can't get up here to share it.

He's on our preseason tour to Austria, but I think that is more because we only have 3 fit strikers at the club, the others being Joe Mason and Bright Enobakhare (who will probably be loaned out). To be honest I hope he does leave, one of those strikers that needs 50 chances to score.
