Guess who?

" My season ticket is in there and it is okay. Slight teething problems though. They sold tickets for row M but it only goes up to row L. Thankfully there were plenty of spare seats. "

As this thread is relatively quiet, shall we talk about the gas?
Yes mate, some of their fans turning on Clarke. Mental really, but they've got the best squad they've had for years and they're still making a mess of it

Best squad? I'm not too sure about that judging by their forum! Relegation for them would be hilarious to be fair. I'm not sure their £Billionaire 'saviour' is quite matching up to his billing! ;)

Now we know what SL plans to do with the land he's been stockpiling behind the Lansdown stand then!

Very smart it looks too.

Doesn't that limit you for further expansion?

The only stand that needs work done now is the atyeo. Which can’t be done because of the residential houses behind it. Been rumours that lansdown is buying them one by one under different names.

Not really Matt. The stand on that side is absolutely massive anyway and brand new plus there's a brook / small river running behind it which would be an issue.
As Jon says, the next bit to be redeveloped will probably be the Atyeo (away) stand to a 2 tier job but there are houses in the way at the mo. The capacity is fine as it is though.
Eventually, the Dolman stand will have to come down but that's years off and to make it as big as the Lansdown would mean it would be right on top of Nelson Mandela house (yes, Delboy's Nelson Mandela house)!!

It doesn’t “need” anything done at all, other than making it look shiny and new to satisfy our fans weird aesthetic needs. Capacity of the ground is more than enough, the stand isn’t even old and works perfectly for away fans. Even if we went up we could open up part of it to home fans as we did against Man United and after a few years of Premier League football the novelty of the whole thing would wear off anyway and attendances would gradually drop. Leave as it is.

Anyone listened to the One Stream in Bristol podcast? It’s very good, worth a listen if you haven’t yet.

I’ve seen today the plans for the safe standing in Ashton Gate which is being pushed through, the legislation is about to change and the supporters club want us to be the first ones to install it. S82 is definitely going to be all rail seating, but the plan is that the top half of the south stand also will be. Looks excellent.

Cracking thread on Twitter re the clubs finances and despite banking some healthy transfer fees you were close to the FFP limit.

Yeah I read that earlier on. In fairness, City’s accounts are slightly hard to gauge as they only give the accounts for Bristol City but they’re not listing income from Ashton Gate which is the loophole that Lansdown’s found with FFP, so I’m sure it wouldn’t be as bad as it looks from just our accounts in isolation.

You decided if you’re going Friday or not? Don’t suppose Saturday did any favours.

Maybe the season Bristol City end the Preston hoodoo.

I'm probably going to punt for another draw though.

Don't see it myself.

You'll win 2-1. We'll have 334 shots on target and you'll have none.

What about the 2nd half? ;)

We'll lose, it's PNE and it's the law.
In comparison to this time last year, we really are not a good side to watch at the moment.
It's actually quite boring TBH.
