I'm sure I said Leeds had the best support in the Football League ..... think about it
no argument there, although unless they do really well this season they will not top the list as they have some proper competition this season. Anyway I'm setting off shortly and what I will say is our away support is one of the loudest in the country so hopefully it will make for a good atmosphere.

Our 1654 at forest was the max allocation - we sold out quickly at 1600 and was given a paltry 100
More. Our club decided to link those tickets to travel as well hence we only shifted 54 of the 100. Most people go by train or drive as its close.
Had the capacity not been reduced and we had a full allocation we would have broke 2000 I'm sure.

Everton and Spurs yes but although West Ham have a great away following they are not as good as Leeds.
We are easily as good as both of them but I do think whoever has a better season out of us and the mags will be top purely down to the money they have spent and their new grounds to visit. If we finish above them we will walk it.

Well under par for Norwich that especially being the opening day of the season, wonder if they were expensive tickets?

leeds,Everton and Spurs I'd put in the same bracket. Everton always travel well regardless. Yeah if you have the better season you will top it as for the simple fact you have better away support than us and Newcastle. Us and Newcastle have the new grounds novelty which will help.

Exactly 1000 Preston. Seems a suspiciously round figure.
I'm guessing it's due to the fire on th M40 so all those that were late where just let into the ground without having to go through the turnstiles so have just estimated ha ha

Good turnout from Cardiff, although I guess it is a straight train come to think about it. How many did Brentford take to Huddersfield?

Tip my hat to the Cardiff fans in attendance, to a man stood and joined the minutes applause for one of our ex players who passed away who they most likely wouldn't have heard of. Few Cardiff fans in the boozer after the game, sound they were, very different to a few years ago!!

Good turnout from Cardiff. And credit to them for joining in with our minute applause for Alex Govan.

I thought it was odd that they booed their own player. Apparently for not reciprocating the 'Ayatollah'.

Good support from Villa especially considering the price.

Good numbers yesterday but not very vocal.

Looks to be a sell out this weekend having sold 50,000 now. Together with the good Huddersfield following, it's looking like a record Championship crowd.

Got 700 flags in the Gallowgate or the Gallowgate Flags (aptly named) fan initiative so should be a cracking game (off the field anyway).

The record you already hold from 2009/10?

Yep, from memory a reduced visitors allocation/segregation led to it not completely selling out. I believe it was against Boro and then against Reading with the latter being the current record.

But I think Huddersfield have taken the full 7th level so it 'should' be a full house.

3,000 sold for Barnsley on Saturday.

Now selling additional 1,500 allocated to us. Don't think we'll sell all those to be honest.

yep I thought we were a bit quiet tbf. I think yesterday was a reality check for villa fans and in the end it made the atmosphere a bit flat from us. You were easily the better team.

To be honest you were like Everton fans in the first half, great numbers but all sat down in almost silence. Second half you were alot better and more what I expected from you. Team mirrored your support support really.

Aye, most if not all stood up.

What made me laugh was when they were pressing the game one of theirs disrupted it a little, we got a goal kick and a lad on the lower tier decided to not return the ball, holding on to it before booting back to the top tier, was he that happy with a draw? It was perhaps harsh for him to be ejected for it mind. Seems to be a second city thing as the same happened at St Andrews last season, albeit they were leading, we won that one too.
