Nah, it's fucking not. I'm up in whiskey country but it still does't take away the fact that it's an 8 hour drive back home to Chesterfield. I like Scotland but it's just too far from anywhere, there's no wonder they travel well.

8 hours!!! Must be Inverness your at.

The picturesque town of Middlesbrough, twinned with Mauritius.

Not accurate but near enough. Think I read somewhere if you take into account newcastles 7k at Fulham they average about 4K, but the official away end only had 2800 in it.

Initial 1,350 gone for Cardiff. Quite shocked.

By "exact" you mean they have 2 correct?

It's alreyt being "No1 away attendance" in October when you've had most of your big allocations..... see how close you are come May.

I figured our club site may have had the correct attendances. It wasn't bragging on my part, if they're wrong, fair enough. :dk:

Wednesday was 4496
Derby was 3070
Barnsley was 3737
Preston was 5421

Just seems sad when clubs pull stuff like that, ours have done it and I cringed.

How do you know which figure is right though? At first glance I'd be inclined to believe the higher figure is correct for Preston, we sold out, with increased segregation, at 5.5k.

we will probably be second, all depending on how well Leeds do. Newcastle will piss it and that leaves only Leeds that will top us.

Our twitter lot are, for the majority, braindead morons. Some saying they'll return Season Tickets if we appoint Bruce ffs. :ffs:

Considering how well your doing, your a club on the up and a game only 40 miles away of which you don't have many Why did you expect so few to go? Sky and trains or any other reason?

it's simple really, we are a big club again in this league and we are well supported home and away, so fans get a bit excited. Of course it will drop off, but in all honesty we will still be taking more away than everyone apart from maybe 1 or 2 clubs? and if we are still down here in 5 years time it will still be the same but with a slight drop off in numbers. Ignore fans that say we are the best away fans because Imo we probably just scrape into the top ten.

Do you not remember our following last season for the bubble trip? I thought it'd be similar to that.

as a whole I think a lot of the Fanbase would be happy ish. Thing is he's got no room for mistakes as he's an ex lulu and the fans would be straight on his back. Fickle as they come our fans are.

Yes but bubble trips don't count no one can be blamed for not going. Anyway you'll probably sell the 2k as I would of thought just surprised how low you thought. Nailed on loss for you now Neil's there though

I think that the fact it isn't a bubble game anymore has encouraged people to go. I was going to get s train, but just going to drive it now.

As a Villa fan I'm a bit embarrassed by the club putting out **** about us being the biggest followers in land. To be fair any decent size club coming down to the Championship for the 1st time in a while will get large followings. It's the clubs who have been down here a while and still get large followings that deserve respect. Step forward Leeds United. The fact we didn't sell out Barnsley and will probably not sell out Reading is the true reflection of where we are as a set of away fans. I do wonder how many people on here actually go to away games.

I see we are being underestimated, time will tell I suppose but we will go very close again my only worry is the waste of an away end playing Blackburn in midweek but all the rest of the big away ends we will fill easily

Remember you bringing down 4,000 for the FA Cup QF a few years back. One of the best followings I've ever seen.

If you ever start challenging the playoffs / promotion you'd sell out midweek at Blackburn imo.
