Was that game on Sky? If so, decent following from them to be fair. Vocal?

Wasn't on Sky either time, surprised they took so many down for this second time. Didn't seem like they took that many more for the original abandoned game. Was free tickets for anyone who had tickets for the original, so £20 for 1.5 games of football.. not bad.

24,800 inside Elland Road tonight with no official away number. Is it just me or is that utterly shite?

Given their fans still talk about them as an English heavyweight and with them being a one club city to only get presumably 24k home fans in when they're doing as well as they are is pretty gash. Derby get in more at home when the chips are down.

Be great to see a full away end at £37 a pop when you visit us then.

Will probably be about 27 people but we're not one of England's elite like Leeds United....

Leeds have never really had great home support regarding numbers, especially for the huge catchment area and fanbase they have. Years of shit has grinded down the fanbase and at those prices you can't blame them too much. But maybe I'm talking shit.

Maybe so mate but Wednesday have had years of shit and play in a city with another club of a decent size and the fans have come back this season and pay similar entry fees.

As of two days ago forest had sold just under 400 tickets for Leeds. On Twitter it's saying 500 forest fans tonight.

Load of bollocks, minted chairman, top players, recent Wembley visit, 3 year season tickets that count in the premier league fuck me you lot would sell 20,000 season tickets if you had all that.

They've only had Chansiri for a year. I don't doubt we would anyway, we sold the same amount this year as they did last year, but Bristol is a big place, as is Sheffield, as is Leeds, but the difference is that Leeds don't have another club in the same city to compete with.

Leeds have a new owner, a potential trip to Wembley and your best team since you were relegated all those years ago and are above them.

No guaranteed money back if we fail to make playoffs though, believe a certain club does this, would certainly entice me to part with my hard earned cash.

Agree with this. Many Leeds fans love ramming home how big of a club they are and how much a sleeping giant they are. Sheff Wed, Derby and Villa are all doing worse and attract more fans. The ticket price card is an easy cop out, Leeds are in their best position to get back to the Premier League in around 10 years, they should be getting that upper tier open and filling it if they want to keep rabbiting on about how big they are.

We've had Chansiri for two years in essence, took over late January 2015 and funded that JTW.

Mate, most people admitbthat Leeds have cracking away support but for the size of your city your home crowds are pretty fucking wank.

I do find it comical that you never discuss the actual football on forums just once there's a sniff of someone going against your grain about Leeds support you're on it like a tramp on chips.

Your attendance last night was pretty decent IMHO, not many clubs would get that.

6 clubs in this league would of got more still. Geordies, villa,Brighton,Norwich, you and Derby. And Leeds are potentially the biggest club of the lot.

Derby and Brighton, clubs who in recent times have had it good and new grounds, if they struggle watch their gates drop.....

Norwich are just fucking weird, having that small stadium is their god send.....

We've been at Pride Park 20 years believe it or not.

We've only had two sub 25k (24.9k and 23.2k) averages in the last 10 years, in 2012 and 2013 when we were mid table mediocrity under Nigel Clough.

27.5k average over last 10 years. Only one year in PL and a couple of other decent seasons, otherwise it's been pretty poor stuff to be honest.

Like leeds then. They've had averages of 21k twice and 22k twice in the last 10 years and had plenty of gates sub 20k. Something none of the 6 clubs I mention have other than yourselves. Derby's home support is cracking even when they were doing shit. We won't know with Brighton till it happens. Norwich sell out pretty much every game and have done for 10 years. If they had a ground the size of Leeds they'd of averaged 30k plus in that time.

Good coming from you lot, when you were shit you were barely bringing a 1000 fans to Elland road because of ticket prices, we will see a lot of "tramps on chips" paying those same prices at Elland Road this season now you have a half decent team. Name me any team that would have 9/10,000 non season ticket holders paying £35+ on a school night at 2 weeks notice.

I'm not sure what our shit followings at Leeds have to do with your shit home gates sugartits.

Your home support, all things considered, is wank compared to many other clubs. You've made 93 posts in this forum I bet 93 where in this thread made whilst wearing your retro Leeds scarf, staring at a picture of Revie and bashing one out.

Not rocket science mate, you couldn't even half fill a 3000 away end 30 miles away (the last 4 seasons) because of ticket prices, then say our home support is shit for paying the same ticket prices.
