Stickied Championship - Away Support Thread 2024/25

The membership only for Leeds away games is a throw back to when there was lots of trouble many years ago and its never been lifted since. If we had General Sale the numbers would be huge...they already are tbf.

(It started with a 'Red Card' bizarrely which I still have and a 'U' club Card)

Surely if the "general public" really wanted to go to away games, they would become members.

We have a standing corner by the loft, but thats the opposite end to the away fans.

I agree about the sitting, I hate it. The point of going away is to have some beers and to have a bit of banter with the home end. It is very hit and miss with QPR. Against Fulham, Southampton, Villa I was able to stand as most were. Against Reading and Tottenham, I wasnt able to stand as most were sitting.

I dont get to many away games so they are my most recent ones. I wish the club could say if you want standing or sitting, then distribute tickets that way. Of course, that cant happen due to being all seaters but it would be better - in my opinion anyway.

I have mine too, 1985 first game against Fulham only lifted for one game which was the Bradford chip van fire.

With Huddersfield away coming up on Tuesday and 2nd from bottom of the league, that not bad following from us tbf, fair play to those that have gone, i will be doing the Huddersfield one instead at 10 quid a ticket, should fetch a fair few more there.

It's a police decision I think, they'd rather have us in the away end than the home end. Guess as its also because it's a local derby and we're rivals.

They gave us the whole away / neutral stand last year, not sure if the last bit will just be empty or have some neutral fans today.
