1,150 sold for Wednesday on Friday night and 1900 sold for Bristol in a couple of weeks, expect that will sell out.

Luckily for them tickets are not the full price, otherwise they would be below 1k I think. £33 instead of the 40 odd quid they sometimes charge.

In fairness £33 is still way too much, our pricing policy is just one example of the many things wrong at Hillsborough atm.

Can't blame em for watching it on Tv, but I did expect alot more from them this season, considering their form and their previous away support.

Completely agree with you, but just saying if it was full price you would end up with about 800 going. No excuse from them, it's piss poor for a club like wolves.

We had a reality shock with our first championship game. Away at Wednesday, Sunday afternoon on sky and £42 a ticket. Unbelievable really, although we was charging £41 in the prem.

Yes you'd sold 39600 it just says 40k bristolians not over 40k. A few hundred may of paid on the day. You said 43k and 15k more than reading when infact you had around 4k more than reading, he's proved you wrong I'm afraid
43,000 was the figure banded about after the game, ticket prices weren't increased on the day. He also said the allocation was capped at 39k.
I thought Reading had 30,000 there not 35,000 so fair dos, but the point stands. Less than us at Wembley for a piss pot game is still a funny point though.

We took over 250,000 to the millennium in 2005.
Official attendance was about 62,000.
Officially we sold over 40k, but there were over 210,000 in and around Cardiff that day, streets of Cardiff, even Newport and Swansea were overrun with joyous Wednesdayites
I can provide a link it to it if you give me 10 minutes or so.

Well that was the most tedious, dull argument I've ever read.

Congrats, JJH Madejski

Regardless of how many "fans" we took, I use the term loosely as 20k of those won't have been seen at a home game since, let alone dare go away. (Though saying that they were probably all clamouring for Man United tickets, c***). That Wembley crowd is the worst I've ever been a part of and I regret going to that shite.

JPT final with 20,000 fair weathers, what on earth was I thinking.

I've known blues take 50k to Wembley, and wolves supposedly took around 60k against Grimsby I believe it was.

Yes, little old Wolves and Grimsby hold the record attendance at Old Trafford (60k away Wolves fans, which could also be a record highest ever away attendance?)

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Old_Trafford

Wolves have sold 1150, so far for their trip to Sheffield on Friday night.

And this, we in reality are tinpot because we'll only shift around 1,400 to Sheff Wed.

It is a very poor following on Friday but we all have them I'm sure you will sell out the rest and win the league

Think most of us did as well to be fair! We've not travelled well to Wednesday for years now yet we sold out comfortably on a Tuesday night to Sheff United and had a big following there in league one. Think with the prices that have become the norm at Wednesday its an away that a lot rule out at the start of the season.

The City and Reading argument is like Katie Hopkins and Miss Piggy fighting over who is fitter!

Just leave it. I’d bang both of them, alright.

It's only been two years that you can blame pricing as well.

Forest have just about sold 1,000 for Saturday. Theirs or Derby's away support on weekends at ours never impresses me. Since we've come back up with we've had three games against them both, in midweek they both brought down 1,000 which was decent but the two Saturdays, none of which have been on Sky they've not got near 2,000. Pretty shite for clubs of their size.
